No changes at the internal, still 1 1/2 cm and doc says it feels like baby is still up high! (even though I have to walk funny b/c baby feels SO low to me!!, he said it obviously could feel different standing up vs. him feeling the baby when I'm laying down).
Can't have the platelet infusion tomorrow b/c my hematologist's office screwed up and didn't get insurance approval prior to the procedure (for the drugs itself not the process, I WAS LIVID but kept my cool b/c it's not going to help anything to yell at anyone at this point!!). So if I do go into labor this weekend it will be epidural free!  Only bit of good news is that my platelets went from 60 on Monday to 82 today, thank god they improved instead of going lower, even though it's still not good enough for an epidural (needs to be 90+), it eases my other big concern- which would be if my platelets go below 50 that's when they can really have a chance of affecting the baby's platelets too, last thing I'd want is to deal w/ a NICU visit (of course as long as LO is healthy at the end of the day I will deal with whatever I have to!). So as of now if I don't have the baby before then, I will have the infusion either on Monday or Tuesday, this wait & see stuff w/ the platelets is making me nuts!! And dealing with insurance and pharmaceutical companies today was enough to put me into labor!!

38 weeks tomorrow. Had another internal today (go to OB 2 x week bc of HBP) and nothing, absolutely nothing. Feeling good though so I can't complain. Baby is measuring 7lbs5oz. Although my blood pressure is slightly elevated and my meds were increased, I have no swelling at all, 24 hr urine and blood work all came back great so my OB's are letting me continue this pregnancy since I want a VBAC. Oh, and I actually lost 1 pound. Crazy. Up 22lbs now.

38 week 4 days: went to Doctor today. Still at 2cm (slightly more) and 50%. Looks like it's a waiting game now. Could be this weekend, next weekend or go past due date. Who knows?
Nursery is 90% complete though! Just some final details left. Carseat installed, bag is packed. Trying to keep the house as clean as possible.

Just had my 38 weeks apt today. I'm only finger tip dialated and thinning. Not much progress. I've been having about 3 to 4 Braxton Hicks contractions per hour and some occasional spotting so I was hoping for more progress. I have a C-Section scheduled for Friday 8/23. I was hoping for a VBAC before then. I had my DD at 37 weeks 5 days so I thought I would go early with this pregnancy too!

I had my appointment tonight. Everything looks good. Cervix is still closed, but he could feel her head. He said he thinks  will be here in the next week!!!

Went to the doctor and I'm only a fingertip dilated but my cervix has softened. My doctor isn't worried that I haven't dilated more than that. I asked how long he will let me go and he said at 41 weeks we will start discussing a plan and that doesn't mean he will send me to the hospital at 41 weeks just that we will start discussing what to do. Which I'm happy about. Baby's heartbeat was great!

I hope you go into labor before that!! Doc said people come in a fingertip dilated and can go into labor anytime right after that... everyone is different. At least ur making progress

Glad you feel great!!! That always helps. Good luck tomorrow at your appointment!!!!! I'll be here for you. I go back Friday. I have been having contractions on and off since last Tuesday but they never get closer than 6-8 minutes and cervix is only a fingertip dilated.

What are you doing to pass time? I am watching lots of movies and trying to make sure all the housework is done so when she comes I don't have to worry about laundry or a dirty house.
