Last night I woke up at around 3:30 with some cramps. This morning I had cramps and right now all I feel is cramps with sharp electrical pains in my belly. Also when I walk I feel like my pee is just gonna come out. I haven't lost my plug yet so I know I have some time. I am 39 weeks so I possibly have 2 weeks before baby. Wishing everyone luck!!!

Had 37 week appt today and am now 2cm but still 50%. Still have so much to get done so I'm hoping LO can stay inside another week. Due date is the 19th but DS was 10 days early so I have a feeling we are definitely getting close. And tomorrow is August 1!!!!!

Have had really strong period-like cramps 3x since Monday night for like 2-3 hours each. But they weren't contraction-like ...
I think it's coming soon. Pretty sure I've lost part of the mucus plug.
We're ready when this kid is!

36 1/2 weeks and not really sure how all you ladies due after me are still hanging on because I'm uncomfortable and ready! (after this weekend when I turn 37wks, of course)

Same here. I had a 36 week growth sonagram on Tuesday and this  is measuring 4 days ahead. His estimated weight is 6lbs 11oz which place him in the 79th percentile. I hope that means he'll be arriving a little early. I had my DD 16 days before her due date. I'm ready to get my body back and have a nice alcoholic drink!

Decided that next Friday (aug 9th) will be my last day of work.
I just can't do the drive anymore! Looking forward to having a week to prepare, lay out, go or a walk with the dog, etc.

I get my measurements tomorrow but he was in the 65% percentile at my last check and should be about 6 1/2lbs tomorrow! My predicted go-time is between August 5th and 13th. Watch me wake up the morning of the 14th, still pregnant. Just watch.

38 wks + 3 today and I'm still just 2 cm. I've been that way for 3 wks now. Last week my doc took me from strict to modified bedrest and now he said I can start walking around more to see if that helps. I still don't have any nursing bras so I'm hoping my mom will take me out tomorrow to get a couple.
I can't believe tomorrow is Aug 1st! We're all so close to having our babies!

I'm 37w5d and I actually still feel pretty good (I better knock on wood so I don't jinx myself!! lol). The head of HR at my job commented to me yesterday that I look like the healthiest/happiest pregnant person she's ever seen......I had to stress to her that I'm getting uncomfortable because I do NOT want to work up until my due date!! Still too much to do at home and don't want to deal with my 1 hour train commute much longer! Hoping I make it to work through maybe Wednesday next week and then throw in the towel! (if LO doesn't decide to arrive before then of course!
Felt an intense stomach cramp earlier tonight, but I was also starving so could've been a combo of the two.....I've noticed I'm having more & more hard/tight BH type contractions over night, it wakes me up at like 3am every night!
Who else is still working? And how soon before your DD will you start working from home or your leave?

Dino is definitely not doing a sneak attack labor. more cramping again tonight that's starting to chill out already.

All mine is missing is wall art! I still don't know what to get. Today we got our glider delivered I can't wait to get home to see it!!!. Everything else is in place his clothes are washed and put away!

Had my 37 week check today, nothing going on. BUT, my BP is creeping up although I'm on meds. Have to go back Monday with 24hr urine. We are so not ready for this baby to come yet and I desperately wanted a VBAC Hoping my BP cooperates and that urine and bloods come back fine.
ETA: I feel like we have nothing ready. DS2's furniture isn't even in yet! He'll sleep in a cradle in our room the 1st 3 months but still, for DS1 everything was ready when he came at 36weeks.

Just posted this, but I'll add it here too. Our team green baby was born on 8/4 at exactly 39 wks. We now have a beautiful baby girl, Tegan Elena. We're still in the hospital so I'll post pics when I can. Best wishes to all the other August Mamas!

Helen, Thanks for your comments, I don't have strep, doctor said it's just viral and that I should gargle with salt water.
I will be 39 weeks on Friday and I am going to have my first internal tomorrow. I can't wait to hear if there is anything going on. I feel like I didn't drop yet and I feel fine like this baby isn't going anywhere. I am asking my doc tomorrow when he suggests I stop driving into the city for work and should start my maternity leave.
How are you ladies?

36 weeks 5 days here... Feeling pretty good... just BIG lol ...Nursery is all done I'm still working on the hospital bag as I don't have that many extra clothes to put in the suitcase bc only a few things still fit  Strep came back negative  Feeling very anxious and on the edge of my seat wondering when labor will begin.
How is everyone else feeling?

FDNY happy to hear you don't have strep! Good luck with the internal tomorrow!!! I've been at 1 1/2 cm since July 12th, so even if they say you're a little dilated it can still take a while apparently lol. I have an internal scheduled tomorrow too, so we can compare notes!
As for my update, platelets are now at 60 as of Monday, no good! When they get so low they can actually affect the baby's platelets and our LO might also need an IVIG platelet infusion after birth  I'm scheduled for a platelet infusion on Friday at my hematologist's office. Just hoping baby doesn't arrive before then!
Felt my first contractions tonight, freaking the hell out wondering how quickly things might progress. Had some intense back pain that lasted at least 30-60 seconds and felt like it traveled up my back. Luckily haven't had one in about an hour or so, but had like 3 in one hour a few hours ago. I have a non stress test scheduled at NS Manhasset in the AM, so we'll see what the contraction monitor says!

I have an appt but no NST ... I get those on Mondays. Thursdays are sonos.
I can't believe there's just a few more weeks till we won't be relying on sonos to see our babies!
