We are almost there!!! Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing and what they have done or still need to do.
I pretty much have everything for my bag I just have to pack it!
I went to the dr last week and had an internal which I didn't expect and she said I was 1cm!!
I also had a sono and baby is head down ready to go!!
Hope you all are doing well!

That's great news about being head down!
33wks today and all still looks great at my appts .... going for sonos weekly for most of the pregnancy so that's not any different now and just recently started non stress tests each week at my ob.
I've gotten large, swollen, uncomfortable, but hey I'm still pregnant  
Our furniture should be in soon. We're actually just waiting on the crib and glider (bookshelf and dresser are in already but have not been delivered). I can't believe that slowly everything is coming together.

I go back to doctor on the 16th so we will have more info next week. It will be for my last sono (possibly ever... which I've become a little sad over) and we will start internals. With my last pregnancy I was 1cm at my first internal so we shall see. I am getting kicked and punched everywhere possible and definitely starting to feel like it's getting tight in there.

I just spent this whole weekend moving and we aren't even close to being done yet!! 
DH set up the glider today, but I haven't had a shower yet so I literally have just the items I have received and what I bought (which isn't much).
Next weekend we are going to start to get a move on.
I feel so behind.

we are almost done with having baby stuff in place and getting the house in order.
i was dealing with a pukey cat this week which wasn't fun.
my last day of work is july 25th and i'm taking it easy from here on out. made a check list of things that still need to get done, not letting laundry pile up. little bit every day...
due august 1st but sitll hoping to make it to say the 9th/10th. let's chunk this little dino out!

Thanks. We actually sold our house and are downsizing for 6 months so I can stay home and care for  and save some money. It's so hard trying to find room for all of our must haves so it is great to hear that they don't need too much to start out! I was kind of worried about that.

Went to dr today. Last sonogram for us. Predicts baby is currently 5lb 2oz at 35 weeks. Got the Strep B swab. And I am 1cm and 50% effaced! We are still going by the Aug 19 due date but if things continue like last time we can be less than a month away!

I'm in the same boat! Had my 35 week appt last week on Friday, I have my growth scan on Friday at NS Manhasset so I won't know size estimate until then.....but as of last week I was 1 1/2 cm and 50% effaced too! And doc said I lost my mucus plug since she could feel the baby's head and the sac! (which I"m not surprised by since I had lots of strange cervical mucus last week!). I'm due August 17th but at this point just hoping I can make it to August 1st! I'm guessing baby is 6 pds by now since he or she was 4pds 12 oz as of 6/27 (our last growth scan). So exciting and nerve wracking all at the same time that we're so close, I'm kind of freaked out that my water could break at any time!!

I told my doctor that I've been having extra discharge which is probably my mucus plug. She said my baby's head is low for someone having their 2nd. So far my appointments have been nearly identical to my 1st pg. DSs due date was July 19 and was born on the 9th (water broke). So who knows what will happen this time! It's really starting to sink in now!

hey girls!!
I had my 36 week appt last week and they check my cervix and did the strep swab as well. So far I was closed. This week I have been noticing a lot of discharge but I feel good other than feeling pressure around my pelvic area but other than that I am ok.
I really don't want to be induce that's my biggest fear and c/s but I have a feeling this baby is coming after his due date.
I really wouldn't want him coming earlier because I still have lots to do and currently I am taking a summer class that ends on jul29 so he needs to stay in there cooking some more
ETA: next week I have a growth sono they will give me an estimate birth weight. I am nervous i'm petite and I don't know how I am going to deal if I have an 8Lbs baby lol

Hey Ladies,
Today I had my growth sono and the baby weighs 5lbs 14 ounces, I will be 36 weeks on Friday. All looked great with the baby which made me happy. Baby's head is down and in position and my fluid looked good. I see my dr. On Thursday so I'm hoping he will tell me if I'm dilated yet. At my last appointment he predicted that the baby will be 7lbs at birth, but I don't see that happening. Lol.
I'm trying to stay cool but this heat is crazy!! Hope everyone is feeling good! We are still team

FDNY & Gloria- keep us posted on the size estimates after the growth scans! It's always interesting to see how accurate it is (or not!) once the baby's born.
My update after hematologist appt today- after starting steroids on Saturday my platelets went from 78 to 87, yay! Not quite high enough to have an epidural yet, but doc wants me to up my daily steroid dosage so it increases (needs to be above 90 to get an epidural). At least we're moving in the right direction Can't wait for my appt this Friday to find out if I've dilated any more!

It's nice reading everyone's updates!!
I'm 33 weeks 4 days and baby is head down. I go for my strep test in 2 weeks! I still can't even believe I'm pregnant lol

Still pregnant and still on bed rest. I'm now 37 + 3 and I have a f/u appt today at 5. I've been 2 cm for the last 2 wks. I'm hoping to see some progress today. My doctor really wanted me to make it to 37 wks, so now that I'm there I'm getting antsy.

Still pregnant here too! No progress/change as of last Friday's appt, so still 1 1/2 cm 50% effaced (thank goodness I need more time!). As of yesterday's hematologist follow up, after starting steroids 10 days ago, my platelets went from 78 to 96 YAY!!!! I CAN HAVE AN EPIDURAL!!! (**as long as they continue to stay above 90!). Feeling good and glad the humidity from last week died down, I felt like I couldn't get anything done! I'm 36w4d today....hoping for no changes at this Friday's OB appt!
