 update: no gestational diabetes. dr just thinks I have a lot of fluid and baby is big like daddy. Sono and NST again Friday!

I don't feel anything other than some cramping and extra discharge I think i'm loosing my mucos plug.
Now i'm up going to the bathroom which happened just the same b4 I had my son. My body emptied itself out the night before.

That's great news! Some babies are just big! Everyone seemed so surprised by ds's size at 36 weeks, but he was normal for my family (my brother was huge born just 1 week later).

We are both doing well. We had doctors apts yesterday, my incision is healing nicely and I'm feeling great... Very tired, but great. I was excited to discuss future pregnancies with my doctors, both my PCP and OB said future pregnancies are absolutely possible, just means extra monitoring because of the hypertension and preeclampsia. Ethan gained another 2 oz and is so close to his birth weight, I think he'll hit it tomorrow or Friday. He eats so much! Pushing 3 oz some feedings. This was our first week alone (except when my drivers were around - aka my brother and mother), DH went back to work.
I have to remind myself periodically that I did just have surgery 2 weeks ago, and I don't have to do everything.
While in the hospital my engagement wedding and other rings and DH's fathers cross were lost (DH put them on a tissue and we believe they got thrown out) so we are in the process of filing the insurance claim.... I feel so bad, DH is such a sensitive guy, this really upset him, but I keep reminding him that there are so many worse things that could have happened. Now I just have to decide what ring I want as my replacement- I don't know if I want the same Tiffany solitaire engagement ring or not.

JUst a quick update: The volume of fluid went down! Yay! Baby looks great on the sono (big) and you can see him so clearly. Now, I just wait till my c-section 11/28  ouchhhhhhhhh
I love that I quit driving last week and I should announce tomorrow that I've quit cooking, too LOL. Maybe. I keep saying I'm going to quit cooking but i haven't had the balls to actually do it yet.

That's great news! Friday will be here before you know it, and your beautiful big boy will be in your arms. I wish you an easy recovery! And you should quit cooking, lol, or at least scale it back a whole bunch! Take it easy this week- you deserve it!

Hope everyone is feeling well! Jess glad you guys are doing well and LIRascal, you are so close! Sounds like we might have a few more babies before December hits.
I still can't wrap my brain around the fact that my baby is here. Probably bc I'm lounging on the couch with DD right now just like I was a week ago. I was feeling so amazing just 2 days or so after my cs. Yesterday morning I was walking around like nothing but they took out my staples right when I was discharged and they had a little trouble with one of them. I was with DD in the NICU and was planning to one last feeding before heading home when I realized I needed to get it looked at bc i was bleeding a decent amount from the incision. They didn't know what to do with me since I was discharged and if they put me in a room to check it I would be charged for a whole ER visit. The doctors were so awesome and came to DD's room in the NICU. I started nursing before they came in so I wouldn't miss that and they came in, reclined my chair, and went to work with whatever supplies they could sneak. Thankfully DD didn't miss a beat and just kept on nursing. It was nuts! After that I was a lot more sore which stunk since I'd been feeling so great. It's so nice to be home with DD1 but of course I 'm anxious to get back to the NICU in a few hours. I really hope this commuting back and forth is short lived. Not that I'm not terrified to bring home a 4lb baby and try to take care of both of them. I'm also pumping every 3 hours which is not fun but my supply is insane. Really hoping to bring DD home on Tuesday but we'll see.

I can only imagine the roller coaster you're on, MrsT. It must be so difficult feeling you need to be in 2 places at once. But your LO is being taken very good care of at the hospital. I'm glad your experience there has been so positive. So sorry to hear about your incision- try to take care of yourself too, and I hope you heal quickly! So happy to hear LO is nursing so well, I'm sure that gives you some peace of mind!

Sounds like you'll have your hands full for a little while though. Hopefully baby will come home soon!
Thought I might be joining the November mommies after a trip to the hospital yesterday to check for preeclampsia. But, after resting and putting my feet up, my blood pressure and swelling went down. DS is measuring 8lbs15oz right now with a little over a week to go until he's due.

So many babies coming early. I hope everything turns out great for you all.
I started going weekly now. My hands and feet are swollen but my blood pressure was fine. I hope he stays cooking until the end. We hope to get the furniture delivered in a week or so. Its getting real...

Scratch that bc she lost a little instead of gaining. Not surprising really. Hopefully she gains when they check her tonight and comes home Tuesday

Samira, are you still hanging on there, or do we have another November baby?
I'm doing pretty well. At my 38 week appt, I was 2cm dilated and fully effaced. Dr said maybe he'll see me at my next appt, but then again, maybe not......

Still hanging in there! I had some contractions thanksgiving morning. They were close to 5 minutes apart. But then just stopped!
I was 4cm 60% effaced last Monday. I go back Tuesday. I'm 38w2d so still about 2 weeks to my due date.
Just tired of the constant calls and texts if I had the baby yet. I just want to send a mass text that says when he comes I will make sure everyone knows lol!!!

So jealous of everyone who is dilated!!! I'm barely 1cm! With DS1, I was 3cm at 36 weeks and walked around forever like that. This dr won't induce me at 1cm :( DS2 is measuring 9lbs and there is no end in sight!!
