Okay, thanks! One more question...sorry! How far along were you when you had it, I'm 12w1d, I'm hoping thats not too early.
We did it around 11.5 weeks so you're definitely good. They were able to get the measurements right away so we were actually in and out of the office in fifteen minutes. Although I then had to go to the lab for blood work. It's definitely the best u/s in my opinion. Enjoy!

Same here. DD was 13 days late, born the day before my scheduled induction. 14 days late this time would put me at Jan.1! It's going to make me nuts that there's the tiniest chance this kid could be born a totally different year than I'm expecting.

LOL - That would drive me crazy! Wouldn't you ask to schedule induction a little earlier? DS was only 4 days late, but would have been later had I not been induced. They wanted to induce me because my "average 7-8lb baby" turned into a predicted 9.5lb monster at my last appointment and they were worried about letting me go longer! This new dr will let me go 2 weeks and has been monitoring the baby to make sure I don't have another gigantic baby!

I really didn't want to be induced so I wasn't rushing it. They wanted to do it around 10 days but the hospital couldn't fit me in until 14 days. Not gonna lie, I couldn't believe I was going to have to go so long at that point! It worked out in the end bc if they had scheduled me a few days earlier I wouldn't have had the chance to go naturally like I did. Definitely hoping to go sooner this time. Before Christmas would be a miracle!

Perfect timing! You will love this scan... it's so special. Don't forget to ask for pictures! They show you bones, the heart, kidneys, and you get to see the baby move and hiccup!
Mine didn't show me each individual part, but she did show the legs, which were soooo long - definitely mommy's baby.
The scan was amazing. It was crazy to see the baby moving around so much, was rolling over, waved at one point. It was great!
My next two appoints aren't until july and august, but only the august one is an ultrasound, which they said they'd be able to tell the sex. Can't wait!

The one in August is probably your anatomy scan! I hear that one's pretty cool too!
I saw my doc last night for my monthly check up, she said my bw came back excellent, she said my chance for downs or the others was in the lowest percentage chance they give (1/10,000 or something like that). The heartbeat was strong and high again (dr's still teasing it's going to be a girl), and LOUD. It was so obvious this time on the doppler, it was very clear... and she found it right where I was *thinking* I was maybe starting to feel baby.

The anatomy scan was fun for DH and my mom and MIL but it kind of stunk for me bc I didn't get to watch it. I saw maybe 30 seconds worth, tops. Of course finding out the sex was fun for all of us!

I'm finding out sex next Saturday! My appointment at Baby Imprints is on Tuesday, but I'm doing a surprise gender reveal at a family BBQ saturday! It's been so hard not telling anyone they're not just coming for a regular BBQ! Did tell my sister though. So excited to find out!

I made it to 12 weeks!!! I should feel better about this now, right? NT scan on Tuesday. Maybe after that I'll feel like this is actually happening. I'm hoping everything looks perfect on Tuesday.

Update: Had my NT scan last night. It went well. Baby looked very good and was moving all around. DH finally got to see the little one. Chance of down's is 1 in 8,000 something. I feel a little better. I'm still unsure if we will ever tell anyone...lol. As of now we have no plans to tell anyone. Is that weird? I asked the Dr. about my chance of miscarriage at this point and he said its very low. I guess I just can't believe I am actually pregnant.
Hows everyone doing?

I have more energy , but I feel big and I'm not having twins  I think that since last time was my first pregnancy, I was so romanticized by the whole thing I didn't notice. I weighed 11lbs less than when I got pg with the girls and Still I feel like a whale.

I don't think it's weird, I just think you are still in shock and disbelieve. It's hard to get to a point of comfort to tell anyone, some don't ever get there until the baby is in their arms. I think when you are ready, that's when you tell...
I'm DEF feeling the baby squirm around in there every once in a while - I realized that's def what I'm feeling. It hit me like a ton of bricks when I was washing my hands about a half hour ago, I almost burst into tears!

Glad you have more energy. I'm still dragging and hating food. Sorry you feel big. BOO. At least you won't be too big in the summer. I'm sure its hard being preg and having twins to take care of.

Yup, shock is a good word. I often forget I'm pregnant. Right now I'm not showing since I still hate food and have a hard time eating so keeping it a secret isn't a big deal. Apparently I'm a great fake drinker... Really nobody has the slightest idea that I am pregnant or that we were even trying.
Awesome you are feeling the baby. When did that start?

The first time I felt DS move, I sobbed like a baby! It took so long to get to that point, it was reassuring to feel him move. I'm a little over 16 weeks with DC#2 now and have been feeling the baby move for a few days. It still makes me want to cry! It's such an incredible feeling!!!
