*** OFFICIAL DECEMBER 2014 THREAD ***

It started right about when I hit 15 weeks... I wasn't sure, but was a little more convinced after my drs apt and she got the heartbeat right where I was feeling it. And today, there was just no denying it.

I don't think it's weird, I just think you are still in shock and disbelieve. It's hard to get to a point of comfort to tell anyone, some don't ever get there until the baby is in their arms. I think when you are ready, that's when you tell...

I'm DEF feeling the baby squirm around in there every once in a while - I realized that's def what I'm feeling. It hit me like a ton of bricks when I was washing my hands about a half hour ago, I almost burst into tears!

This is the best part of pregnancy! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Enjoy every second! my little guy is kicking me in the belly button right now. I felt him so much sooner than the twins.... like 3 weeks ago

I was really surprised - I've def got extra padding in my midsection so I wasn't expecting to feel it so soon either.... But I also wasn't expecting to be showing at 11/12 weeks either.

Yeah I bet. Maybe when I feel the baby I will believe I am pregnant. I'm 12w4d and not really showing yet. I mean at night I feel like I look big but then in the morning back to normal. All of my work pants fit. So was it just like BAM I'm showing one day? I definitely want to hide it a few more weeks.

I hid it best I could, but I've been wearing maternity clothes since 12 weeks because (despite the weight loss) nothing fit. I am thrilled that my belly looks less "fat" and more "pregnant". You'll get there! There are STILL moments where it doesn't feel like I'm pregnant.

has this happened to any of you ladies? Wake up to pee way too early to get up, eventually fall back asleep, just to sleep straight through your alarms??? yeah, I jumped out of bed faster than I have since before getting preggo... woops!

What's lovely is this continues after baby is home...my son LOVES to wake up at 5:00 when we don't really have to get up until 6:20 at the latest. I can usually get him back to sleep; only to barely be able to get up an hour later. I really should just stay up!

This morning he woke up at 5:19 for the DAY!!! We were up watching TV until 6:20. I refused to get up and turn the lights on any sooner!

Anyone feeling Braxton Hicks yet? This is # 2 for me; started last night. Some cramping on and off.

I wonder if that's what I was feeling? I just thought it was more of the stretching - but first time mommy here, so I'm pretty clueless.

Yup- I have a long walk at work and feel a lot of tightening when I don't drink a lot of water. Much earlier this time than last time!!!

I feel nothing! But I'm at the end of Dec so maybe in a few weeks. I think I'll freak out when I feel something.

I hope everyone is doing well! Its hot out there.

Anyone else feeling a hatred towards meat? I'll be 14 weeks on Sunday and I'm starting to hate meat even more. At least I can actually eat more food now though.

Have a great weekend!

P.S. We still haven't told anyone. Still no bump yet and all my pants fit so I figure I can hide it a little longer.

Ha. I really try to eat any meat. I have a few bites and I'm over it. So weird. I wonder if this will be an issue the whole pregnancy.

Our thread is soooo slow. HA.

Hows everyone doing? Feeling? Updates? Have you done anything to prepare for baby (shopping, nursery ideas, etc.)?

I went in for an OB app today at 14w4d. I got to hear the heartbeat on the Doppler. I asked my OB if everything sounded normal and he said yes. I go back at 16 weeks but no sono until 20 weeks for the Anatomy scan. Why am I still so nervous about everything?

So I think we will finally tell our parents tomorrow. We haven't told anyone and I'm not completely comfortable with telling anyone but DH thinks its time to tell our parents and I can't hide it forever. Baby steps...

Still no bump and I lost 2 pounds since last appointment. Hopefully my hatred of meat stops soon.

Enjoy the holiday weekend!

Still nauseated at nearly 19 weeks- can't believe I'm almost halfway there!!! If you really can't wait for 20 weeks, you can do an elective gender sono. If you're team green, you can always tell the tech you're having a gender reveal and then throw out the envelope!

Starting to work on the nursery- picked out bedding and even ordered a few things since it's a clearance set and things are selling out quickly! Came up with a name - Henry. Trying to just get his room done before I go back to work in Sept! And DS is obsessed with saying Henry over and over! He usually points to my boobs instead of my belly, but it's cute!

Where do you go for the elective sono? Your doctors office?

I'm hungry all the time. I wasn't like this with the twins. I can't get enough sour cream, either. I try to get 60+ g of protein every day, but I end up eating all of this other food too. Today, I had baked Lays BBQ. i never eat that junk, ever. Chat Icon

I went to baby imprints in valley stream. Same place I went for DS1- the lady is awesome and so patient. I have very uncooperative children when it comes to sonos! You can go for gender check as early as 16 weeks. I went 16 weeks 1 day for both!

Boo to still being nauseous. But YAY to being almost halfway there! Where did you pick out bedding from/order from? I'm scared to order or buy anything. Henry is a great name!

I'm never hungry! It really annoying bc I am forcing myself to eat. I hate meat so I'm definitely not getting in the protein I need. I think I'm doing okay with fruits and veggies though. What are you doing for protein? I been making a protein shake with fruit but thats about it. Also some cheese if its in things. I do want candy all the time which is so not good. MMMM baked lays. I'm worried about all these carbs I'm consuming.
