Totally interested!
I think what we do is everyone gets a name on of a person and their address and sends them something. We set a dollar limit.
Its a great idea! You can even tell them if you have a registry or not! Just nice to get a gift in the mail

I think how it works is, we come up with a list of people who want to be involved and then assign one person to buy another person's gift, with a price limit... and you sent your "buyer" a link to your registries...
anyone else have anything to add to that?
ETA: oops didn't see that someone already explained it above...
If anyone interested in participating could FM me or respond to the shower thread with your EDD and gender if you know it, I can get a list together.

i would love to participate but based on my update i just posted on another thread I may end up being an August/early Sept mommy instead of Nov. so I don't know if I can be part of it. I just don't know what is going to happen so I'd hate to sign up and then not get a chance to send a gift to someone. 
i'll still be around to check in on you november ladies no matter what happens with my twins.

I can't sleep. Acid reflux woke me up. Took an antacid. Have to be up.for work in 6.5 hours. Now my mind is spinnig with all the things that I have to.do before this baby arrives.. feeling very overwhelmed.

Sorry to hear that! I know the feeling of not sleeping and it is NOT FUN! I can definitely relate! I hope you're able to get some sleep soon! And I promise you... everything will come together in time for the baby. Seriously, don't stress it (easier said than done, I know)

I'm doing the childbirth class, new parenting class and breastfeeding classes. I can't remember what I'm doing when but I'm going in August, Sept. and Oct.

Acid reflux/heartburn is KILLING ME.
And yes, that nesting feeling has taken over. I feel like I want everything done NOW. Same thing happened to me with DS. As much of a pain it is to deal with, its perfectly natural.

my reflux is back  after dinner on saturday, i walked in my hallway back and forth for like 20 mins hoping it would go away, all the while sniffing an orange.. for me reflux will quick turn into something icky

You lucky ducks. I had to go through it with DS and it was so dumb and pretty gross.

I live on pepsid ac. I take my morning one on one of my bathroom breaks around 4am ish.
I hate it

I don't know if its mandatory but they have a great perinatal eductation dept and as a first time mom, I'm DEFINITELY doing the childbirth class there. I am actually going to do the childcare class at New Baby Belly, I think the one in September? New Baby Belly looks fabulous, so I am going to try and do one or two classes with them.
As for now, I am signed up for this coming Saturday's childbirth class @ Good Sam- though I am wondering if perhaps its too early (25 weeks) and I should maybe move it to the Sept date?
