30 weeks!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon at my dr. appt, yesterday, I was told for sure, I have an anterior placenta. So all my worries about movements were kinda justified.. my OB did say that, initally it may have looked like a posterior, b/c of kind of embraces the baby, whatever.. placenta is anterior, and all the kicks, and jabs will be cushioned I guess.

10 more weeks left!! Chat Icon can't believe it! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Next week is my growth sono.. hoping Chat Icon cooperates and I can see that face Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: **Official November 2011 Mommies Thread***

Anyone experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions? I'm 30 weeks, went to the high risk doctor last night, had a sono, baby looked great, cervix was closed. But I couldn't sleep all night. I kept getting the hardening belly feeling. It's still happening today on and off. I'm going to call the doc but was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.

Yes, or as my Dr. calls them regular contrctions Chat Icon I'm 31 weeks and he said it's okay to have them at this stage as often as once an hour but this morning I felt like my belly was tight constantly. Don't overdo it, put your feet up and drink plenty of water.

Thanks! I think I may be slightly dehydrated because I barely drank any water yesterday. I've been drinking tons today and already feel a bit better. Chat Icon

So I think I had my first braxton hicks contraction last night. I was going to bed and felt a tightening that REALLY hurt down the center of my belly. Will be 30 weeks on Tuesday.

Excellent! I got DH to start painting yesterday. I've had the paint for weeks as well as the furniture (we need to build it). DH is killing me with the procrastination! I'm so anxious especially since my peri told me that he wants me to have steriod shot at 32 weeks and they are doing amnio at 35 weeks and if baby's lungs are ready we're taking her! AHHHHH. DS came at 35 weeks in a not so great way, so we don't want to repeat history.

I kind of told a bit of a fib. I told him you girls are already posting pics of your done nurseries and that we're last. hahaha. Put a little fire under his arse!

I can not believe how prepared you ladies are.
We do not have anything for baby. I keep joking that hubby is going to buy a car seat on the way to the hospital to pick us up, that baby is going to sleep in a dresser drawer wrapped in a bath towel until I am able to get to the store.
Oh well.

We aren't really. We don't have any names, not even close. The room still has stuff in it that needs to find a home, like DHs surfboard that I've never seen him use in 13 years. The only reason we have furniture is because we are getting DHs grandmothers bedroom set and my SILs crib. I have a glider from when I was manager at Baby Depot. We didn't order or buy any furniture. The only thing I have really done is order the decals for the room. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Went to the doctor yesterday and the baby is already measuring 5 lbs and 2 ounces. Looks like another almost 9 pounder for me! The doctor scheduled my c section for Oct 26 and we are all set! Everything looks great and the baby is doing really well! Chat Icon

Don't feel bad...the 2nd floor of my house in under construction. We are in the process of moving all of bedrooms upstairs and renovating the 2nd floor bathroom. As of right now my nursery has been framed outChat Icon I'm actually not stressed about it at all. My ds stayed in our room the first few weeks anyway.

I can't believe I'm heading into the home stretch already! It's flying! We still have yet to do any preparations, so we really ought to get on that!Chat Icon
I've been having a LOT of Braxton Hicks, but the dr. said it's totally normal, especially with 2nd pregnancies and nothing to worry about. Otherwise, I really feel great! How is everyone else feeling??
