Just got back.
Lost 2lbs this week Total Lost 6.4
I'm so happy! I wasn't expecting such a great loss this week! I lost 6lbs in 2 weeks!

I don't remember the exact points- I had put it into the recipe builder on e-tools. It wasn't too bad at all though. It's really the pasta that increases the points. But the shrimp, spinach, and reek yogurt help fill you up without all the pionts.

OFFICIAL WW 2013 THREAD
Up 0.6 this week. Frustrated because I exercised and stayed within my points and extra points! Last week I didn't and lost a lb so it doesn't make sense to me!

Did you drink enough water? Sometimes if you dont drink enough water and you are exercising it might be water retention.
but dont worry its only .6 you'll probably lose that and more this week

I didn't over the weekend. It's easy for me to do it at work since I put bottles on my desk. It's harder to do at home because I have to leave it in the kitchen or my kids will get into it.

Losing weight never makes sense I hear you about drinking water at work. I can refill my bottle a million times since we have a water cooler with nice cold water. But at home I have to wait for my darn water to get cold. So I make sure I have seltzer or diet snapple in the fridge getting cold. I might actually just get bottled water for the house so I can have a big bottle in the fridge. I dont really like water but Im getting used to it again and I love to drink it when its super cold.

OFFICIAL WW 2013 THREAD
Hi all! I am neither new to the boards or to WW but I do lurk a lot. I have a question for y'all: What day do you find it works best for you to renew your weekly "flex points". Right now mine renew on Friday adn I am thinking that it might be best to move to another day of the week for budgeting purposes...I basically blow throuh my points on the weekend and have nothing left for the week. Thanks!

I weigh in on Saturday mornings. That's the way I've always done it, each time I've done WW at different points in my life. I like renewing the weekly points at the start of the weekend.
True, I use a lot of them on the weekend (because that's when I tend to go out, have wine/cocktails, be out and about with DH and DS, etc.) and sometimes don't have much leftover for during the week. But that's ok with me - During the week I eat almost every meal at home, I cook a lot, and I don't have the need to indulge as much. So if I have to stick to my daily points target Monday-Friday, or close to it, I usually can without an issue. But iff I know I am going out during the week (last week, I went out Friday night), I will try to save a lot of weekly points for then.
That being said, I know a lot of people who like to weigh in on Sunday or Monday because it keeps them accountable on the weekends and stops them from going wild. But having a little more leeway on the weekend works best for me, and I've always been able to lose weight that way!

Mine renew on Wednesday. I like it that way because by Wednesday, I usually have a sense of what is going on during the weekends. So far, I've only used my extra points on weekends though, so that might be why it works for me.

can anyone explain to me the deal w/ the activity and flex points? i weigh in on sunday mornings. so far for the week i have 11 activity points and then 49 extra points... do i have to eat any of the activity points? so far i have just been eating the 26 i get for the day. Also the activity points and the extra points reset on sunday if that is my weigh in day, correct?

Up .6 this week. Not sure why- could be any number of factors though. I followed the plan, excercised a lot more than usual...I'm thinking maybe not enough water? Or maybe too much sodium.

Ok thanks! Just wanted to make sure that I don't "undereat" so that it may have a reverse effect on my metabolism (if that is possible)

Down another 1.4lbs this week thats a total of 8.2lbs since Jan 2nd. I forgot how great I feel when I am on WW's.
On the weekly points, AP points I try not to even look at those points unless I have to. I will probably use mine more once I dont have as many points plus to use. But mine always renew on weigh in day so for me that would be Wednesday.
