meh.. people put SOOO emphasis on race that you an only say certain things if you are a minority. Which in itself is an oxymoron. I dont care.
We are getting close to election, if he farts the wrong way they'll say he did it in the face of a newborn.
I dont get this 'scares the living crap' out of me stuff either. Because I may not be a FAN of Obama but I am already scared of what he's done for me and my family. I'm tired of scraping the bottom of the barrel. I don't see any hope and absolutely no change. All I've seen is it get worse and worse. Since he's been president I've actually had WORSE financial trouble and they are directly due to his administration (make american pay crap).
I want Change I can believe in and yeah, I'll take a dead dog over Obama right now. I want him OUT! Sure that's against the popular vote in NY but I'm not alone.
Sitting presidents have a VERY high rate of re-election. Look at Bush. You guys HATED him but he got re-elected. I don't see Obama to be any different.
I am only take solace that its only 4more years of his insanity and hope and pray that we can somehow all agree to FIRE CONGRESS because they push the bills through, THEY are out of touch with us THEY are the ones acting like children THEY stop progress. FIRE CONGRESS and lets get a TRUE fresh start.
Frankly I think Obama has embarrassed us as a country and I can't wait for him to be gone. 4 years, next year... whatever it takes.. get rid of him.
Amen!!!!!!!!!!!! Very well said, I cant wait to say BYE BYE BYE to Mr. President Obama. People watch the media and cast votes based on what is on display. Every "Promise" Obama broadcasted was not granted, nor were his policies. He shamelessly made companies cast false votes to elect him, he said he would close Guantamo Bay and didnt. The troops, where are they? Didnt he say they would come home?
Do your research and educate yourself before electing a new President for the next four years. Race, and "change" are separate issues. The issues that govern our rules, and our present and future should be looked upon, not the color of someone's skin. If that is something that governs your vote, then what a shame you are to the country and the people that you coexist with.
The funny thing about this is the only people who are discussing race are those who want Obama out....
Seriously. Who here mentioned race? I've done my research on both Obama and Romney. I know about Romney's flip flopping and his outsourcing of jobs to China, etc. I know that Obama is not perfect, that he can't fix everything that needs fixing, and that he's working with a Congress that wants him out and is doing everything they can to see that it happens.

Re: Oh Mitt Romney...
First of all, it's "Presidents". And yes, he has a LOT to do with the price of oil. By piling up the national debt, he has debased the value of the dollar, which translates DIRECTLY into higher prices on ALL imports, including oil. Gas is closing in on $5/gallon. Imagine your outrage if Bush was still in office.

I couldn't agree more Palmer. Also, I want to know why the "mainstream" media refuses to publish photos of your Saint Barry smoking a cigarette.

Re: Oh Mitt Romney...
Clinton and bush are both responsible for this crap economy.
Sure things were fine when Clinton was in office, but he didn't veto the repeal of glass steagall, which is a main conductor of this meltdown, IMO.
Even if Clinton did veto it, the republicans still had enough democratic support to get it passed.
Robert rubin, Clinton s secretary of the treasury became chairman of Citigroup.
I say abolish the bi partisan system. It doesn't work.

What are your thoughts on Fox & Friends reporting yesterday that Obama had more time to meet with a pirate than the Israeli Prime Minister?
“This pirate got a sit-down in the Oval Office yesterday,” Fox and Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade said on-air. “So much for the Middle East peace. The White House doesn’t even have time to meet with Israel, but the president got a private sit-down with a pirate yesterday in the Oval Office. Sorry, Bibi,” Steeve Doocy added.
Yet, the picture was from 3 years ago from a joke used at the White House Correspondents Dinner. Talk about bias. They'll use any opportunity to twist anything around.

Oh Mitt Romney...
We can split hairs all we want over who did what, but the reality is every single president has had major missteps and major accomplishments. The problem is with Congress. The problem is with government as a whole. The government is one giant clusterf*ck. The democrats AND republicans are both just so hell bent on getting their way - they REFUSE to work together, they block each other every step of the way. It is about what THEY WANT, not what WE as the people of this nation actually NEED. It doesn't matter which party has the control, the tables just turn the opposite way.
I just cannot believe that it is a coincidence that as partisanship has increased to the out of control level as we know it that the country has been in a steady decline both socially and economically. That is not a coincidence. Despite how different they say they are from one another, they are actually exactly the same. Until someone steps in and manages to get them all to grow the f*ck up, we are screwed. We will continue to spin our wheels and get nowhere bc they refuse to get anything done. They will cut off their noses to spite their face every time.
We are not part of their reality. They know what is happening around them, but it is not TO them. They have the luxury of sitting around bickering like a bunch of children, casting stones at one another bc tomorrow they will still be just fine. We are no longer a government "by the people." If members of Congress were put in the position that half of this country is in, I bet we would see a whole lot of change in a helluva short amount of time. I would bet that they would manage to find a way to shut their mouths for 5 minutes and work it out.
We can go back and forth all day on which President and which party did or didn't do what. And you know what? We would all be right. That in turn does not make us any different than those in elected positions right now or yesterday or tomorrow....we are then just like them. So hell bent on being right, we can't even see the light at the end of the tunnel for any of us. There has to be give and take at some point somewhere or we are doomed to fail, as a government and as a nation, we will begin to turn on one another. I don't want to be right, I want us to be OK.

Re: Oh Mitt Romney...
I don't know what to think about this election.
One thing that DOES frost my wheaties is the constant "Obama inherited this" stance from the White House. I find that incredibly insulting. So Obama did NOTHING in 4 years to contribute to this mess? He takes NO fault?!
And fact checking is exhausting! I hear "30 months of positive economic growth" from the White House, but then "highest unemployment rates" from other sources. Who is twisting the statistics? It's so frustrating as a voter when you hear COMPLETELY opposing stats and figures! I don't know WHO to believe because you can find statistics that back up each of these claims.

But I think it is an entirely valid question of why St Barry is ignoring an act of war against our embassy and our brave diplomats, but he can make time for nonsense like the David Letterman show.
