ok, my OPK results...

yesterday i got my first ever positive (yay!). I've been told in the past that OPKs don't necessarily predict the EXACT day of ovulation. It just tells you something like 12-36 hrs within that time frame. So in other words, I could get a positive today, but actually Ovulate tomorrow.

BUT... if I got a positive yesterday and a negative today (tests taken at same time) does this mean that I definitely ovulated YESTERDAY? And I am not today?

I guess my question is, would the test stay positive if I was still Oing?

IN the box which the OPK comes in...there should be a good graph. This graph shows that what you test for with OPK is your surge in LH, which promotes ovulation. After this, your LH level goes down.

From the time it surges, you ovulate in 12-36 hours (this could be sooner if you test once a day & catch it 12 hrs after the surge occurs).

So, yes...you do ovulate after the surge.

Ever-After... I think we are on the same cycle day..ur my twin!! I read awhile ago when u posted what day u were on or something..cant remember n I remember saying to myself wow we r on the same day.

I tested on Mon it was a negative (very faint line)..yesterday a little dark but not positive..so I'm hopin today is my positive... we will have the same 2ww.. :) good luck girl!!!
