OK ... when do u stop using a white noise machine??
DD is 22 months and we still have one in her room...Honsetly it blocks out my noisy DH (LOL) and we dont have to worry about waking her...However will she never be able to sleep without constant noise now? DID we screw her sleep up with it?
has anyone taken it away and had problems? THANKS

DS sleeps with one at 18 months still...we just stopped using the monitor so next is to stop using this. I think we're going to phase it out over the next 2 months....lower the volume a bit each week until it's off.

17 months and I still use it. I have no plans to stop any time soon - I don't really see the need to stop personally.

my neice is 8 and still uses.. i plan on keep using with my dd too.. I dont see any harm in using.

Still use ours at 23 months but honestly, our old one broke and she went without it for 3 weeks and it was ok. But I like it for the mornings since I get up at 6am and would like her to sleep until I get ready.

I use one, DD is only 6 months old. I don't plan on stopping since my house is noisy. She sleeps fine at the babysitter and she doesn't have one there..so I think its ok.

we use the humidifier....I tried one day to not use it to see if she would sleep and she slept fine. I always also put on a cd for her to fall asleep to. Like a PP said, it is more so when I am getting ready in the AM, I do not wake her

we use a humidifier instead of a white noise machine and it has the same effect .. she sleeps great and it dulls all of our noise - especially the noise we make.
Shes 14 months now and i figure we're not going to change it unless we have to - im big on the "if it's not broke, dont fix it"
