Re: ok...the OFFICIAL *stuff my kids eat* thread!!!!

DS is 10 months and yesterday he had orzo with some chopped broccoli, yellow squash (new veggie) and carrots. I sauteed the veggies, after 1st steaming them, in a bit of butter and some onion. He loved it (i'm told) and I'm guessing he really liked that it had more texture.

Today's menu:
Breakfast: 3 TBSP EB Oatmeal with 3 oz EB pears
Lunch: 3 cubes Orzo with veggies (see above)
Dinner: 3 cubes of chicken with leeks and carrots (this is new, hopefully he likes it)
Snacks: puffs and pieces of fresh banana or mango

He also has about 25oz formula

Went to Trader Joes this weekend and bought
Turkey Meatballs, Cauliflower medley (she loved it), frozen grilled chicken patties, tortillas (they are the best there. I find store bought tortillas to have an aftertaste and these don't) and french toast! DD will be eating this at DC throughout the week.

Last night: Quesadilla- i made it with the tortilla from TJ, Grilled chicken patty (cut up) and cheddar cheese. She also had Macncheese and corn on the cob. For dessert, Tapioca pudding. I don't give her tapioca often. Just here and there.

Tonight: I will make pasta and chicken. Mel-I have to try the cucumber and tomotoes with balsamic vinegar!

boooo these are the threads that make me feel so behind! but chokey mcvomitstein can't seem to handle more!

Hahaha!

I'm in the same boat - we're just on rice, oatmeal and barley cereal and stage 2 purees - some meats - but, mainly fruits and veggies.

He liked yo-baby but, it didn't like him. He gags on puffs - I cut them in half too.

Re: ok...the OFFICIAL *stuff my kids eat* thread!!!!

Today:

Breakfast - pureed blueberries & mango with oatmeal
Lunch - pureed chicken/potato/cauliflower with homemade chicken broth
Snack - frozen canteloupe and puffs
Dinner - forgot to take anything out of the freezer so FIL will give them EB jars with mixed grain cereal

DS is finally starting to master the pincer grasp and is fighting me with the spoon. I am going to definitely start giving him more things cut up. The other one, forget it - I have to hand feed him everything.

2 1/2 -- he ate "fish nuggets" - fried scallops. LOVED THEM!!!

Also, went out to eat and also on the weekly menu thread - Gnocchi - haven't given them to DS yet, but I really think he'll like them. Anyone else try them?
