He started a new job working for the state about 3 weeks ago and quit his job bc he thought this was the "perfect" opportunity. I think i am gonna throw up! No one knows yet...he just put this on me and I am home with dd...

Oh geez Paulette, I am so very sorry about this. First of all, you need to be there for DH. Men have this sense of needing to take care of their families, so he must already feel terrible. He doesn't need to be fielding 10,000 questions about what he plans on doing. Tonight, be there for him. He needs support right now.
Take some time to think, over the next few days, what you can do. I'd suggest to go to unemployment immediately. If you have insurance through him, check out Healthy NY. I hope he get s good severence package.

Maybe his old job has something for him. A friend of mine quit his job to take a new job. Within the first few weeks, he lost his new job. He went right back to his old boss and was able to get his job back.

I agree with Kelly. Be there for him for support tonight and maybe the next few days. I am sure he will be motivated to find something to be able to support his family. We will all be here to support you!
