one night cooking classes
A friend is looking for a place that does cooking classes. Not to become a chef, but just one night, for fun.
I know there is a place in Nassau that does cooking classes -( A LA CARTE CULINARY SERVICES. )
Does anyone know of a place like this in Suffolk? Or any other place like this?

Super suppers is the one where you learn how to make a bunch of stuff for the freezer right?
Yes kind of like that - but the one in Nassau has say Tour of Italy and you learn how to cook a meal with 3 courses for a $100 or so for two people. Kind of for a date night.

eta: I didn't see you said Suffolk. Check the main site they have a location in Bridgehampton also.

I am not sure if they are doing them this summer but they did have one in sayville at the http://www.blueislandshellfish.com/catering.html
they don't have any now but I took one in the winter and it was 40 a person. They recently just had one and it was closer to 80 a person because you got more courses and more wine selections. The wine store in town coordinates with teh seafood store and they come up with a menu.

theres one in east northport on jericho tpke across from 7-11 (next to fire stone) and theres one on vanderbuilt pkwy in commakc next to marios.
