Re: Pack n Play with Changing table-really worth it?
DS is 7.5 months old and we STILL use the changing table part of our PNP every day! We didn't even get a changing table for the room, just the PNP which we keep in the living room. The one we have (Carters), the changing table part stays attached to the PNP and you can just lift it off and it will hang off the side when you don't need it. So now that DS will play in the PNP, we just move the changing pad off and when we want to change him, we lift it back on.
It's great! It does have a weight limit which I think is either 20 or 25 lbs for mine. DS is currently 18+ lbs so I should still be able to use it for a bit longer.

Re: Pack n Play with Changing table-really worth it?
We used it until DD was almost 1. Def worth it! Depends on whhich one you get but ours did not have to be removed when sleeping.

Re: Pack n Play with Changing table-really worth it?
We never used the changing table portion of the pack n play. we just used the top area (bed area?) and changed DS in there.
I personally thought the pack n play was a waste. we barely used it. if DS slept in the living room, he was usually in his swing.
I think it depends on how big of a house you have.

we used it all the time with DD when she was a newborn, she slept in the pnp downstairs during the day and I would change her on the changing table there

Re: Pack n Play with Changing table-really worth it?
I think it depends on the brand.
We have a Graco pack-n-play and the changing table was a POS. It couldn't hold all of DS 7lbs and slopes down making him roll to the side. It says that the weight limit on the changing table is 25lbs, but I think it would snap holding a child that heavy.

We used it all the time. That was honestly the only use we got out of the Pack n Play.
Same here...I use it all the time.

Re: Pack n Play with Changing table-really worth it?
I stopped using our changing table when DS became mobile and fell off of it. Most times i wound up changing himon the floor anyway.
the changing table attachment to our PNP we used a few times when DS was first home. I tried to get him to sleep on there strapped in..no go.
I wouldnt bother with the PNP with the attachment personally.

if i had to do it again, i would NOT waste the money on a changing table. i barely used it. i most of the time just changed her on a bed or the floor!!
I agree.. DS bedroom is so close to our living room where we had the PNP that we just walked in there and changed him. It was too annoying to have all the supplies in 2 places.
I think it is worth it if for example DCs room is upstairs and you want the PNP downstairs.

Re: Pack n Play with Changing table-really worth it?
I used my changing table EVERY time I was home and changed DS' diaper and never once used the changing pad thing on the PNP but if you arent using a changing table, then I would get the one with the attachment.

The changing table part is the only part of it I used
Honestly, of all the baby paraphenalia I ever got, my PNP was the least needed for us ...
Same here. DS hated the PNP. I think we successfully used it a handful of times. At the beginning, I used the changing table part a lot.

With #1 and #2, not worth it. With #3, we still use it at 8 months old.

Re: Pack n Play with Changing table-really worth it?
Maybe it is my height, but I hated the changing table on the PNP - it hurt my back to use it. I am only 5'3" and I was bent over each time I changed DS on it.

Yep, which is why I never got one. Someone gave it to me and I ended up giving it to a new mommy later. For it its a total waste of money and space. I changed AJ in her crib, on the couch, on our bed, on the floor. Just used a waterproof fabric paid and ta-da. Instant changing area.
