The Pack and Play with changing table has been packed up....Moms of 10+ months...where do you change DC?
I still have the changing table in her room, but when we're downstairs I used to use the pack and play changing table, but she just got too big for it, so we packed it away over the weekend. I bought a diaper caddy, but for now I'm just changing her on the floor...which is fine with me, but a problem when the grandparents watch her. What does everyone else do?

I change him on the floor or I just take him to his room and change him on the changing table there. My friend bought a changing table pad and keeps that downstairs for her DC.

Can you get a changing pad (like for the changing table) and do it on the floor? You could hide it under the couch.

I take her upstairs to her room to use the changing table.
Maybe the grandparents can just use a pad on the couch?

We have a blanket that we keep out in the bottom of her bookself, and we changed her on the couch or floor. My parents change her on the couch with the blanket.

I live in a colonial - so on the first floor I have a changing table.
90% of the time though - I just change him on the floor.

I walk up 2 flights of stairs to change her in her room. I am so thick- I never thought to have a changing station in the lower level of our townhouse!

We always change him in his room, but we are on one floor.
Why can't the grandparents take her upstairs?

I bought a changing pad - the thick ones that they use for a changing table and put it on top of my leather ottoman and use that in my living room. It's a little hard on the back to bend over but easier than doing it on the floor.

I have the same set up and always bring DD upstairs onto her changing table for a diaper change. She's tooooo squirmy on the floor, for some reason she cooperates on her changing table.

We actually only have a chaging table downstairs. If she's upstairs, I change her in the crib. I never even thought of doing it on the floor!!

I use the floor most of the time now. I'm not sure what you should do for the grandparents.

This is what I do when I am home. If I go to my parents house or inlaws I change them on the floor or couch and my in-laws and mom do the same.

Look on craigslist and buy a used changing table for a bit! That is what I did for my moms house! It makes her life much easier!

At home I go upstairs and use the changing table in her room. When at grandparents (they watch her when I work), they change her on their bed.

When we visit my sister she doesn't have a changing table downstairs either so we use the changing pad from the diaper bag on the kitchen counter. She was always too squirmy to try to change anywhere other than where she perceived to be a changing table. It was also a much better height for those of us with back problems.
