Paragard moms - advice please! A bit tmi

Hi everyone ! Ive had paragard for 2 years now. I've had the heavy periods and cramping. My periods are usually around the same time each month give or take a few days. This month my period was a week late- now I'm bleeding very heavy and having consistent painful cramping on my right side only! Tried calling gyno he's on vacation . Does this seem normal? Should I be concerned ? Thanks !!

I'd def call your doc again, request to see a diff doc, request a sono!!

Not to freak you out, but my paraguard shifted and embedded itself in my uterine wall. I had to have it surgically removed.
