Peace of mind doc visit
Yesterday I was supposed to have had my 1 hour glucose test. I postponed it to next week because I did not want to risk getting sick/nauseous while in the midst of mourning. However, I went to see my OB today just to make sure everything was ok with me AND the baby-and it was.
My blood pressure was the best it ever was which shocked me. The doctor also told me it was safe for me to have an "emotional purge" which I haven't been able to do since Mom passed for fear it could have an effect on the baby. He basically said there is really nothing I could do to harm her and it would probably be the most therapeutic for me.I gained 5 pounds since last month and my urine looked good so the nurse was pleased.
As for the baby, she couldn't be more perfect. My OB said she was measuring perfectly and her heartbeat is strong. Physically, this has been a rather uneventful pregnancy and I am very grateful.
I'll post pictures later but they make Ed-lie look like a lizard.
ETA - She is still a girl.

I'm so happy to hear about Edlie doing great!!! And please don't hold on to any emotion, let it all out, believe me it will be cathartic and it's probably the best thing you can do for not only yourself now, but the baby as well!!!!

I agree I held it in after my father passed, and was messed up for years becuase of that... You're entitled to grieve... something horrible just happened...
I'm so glad Ed-lie is doing well.... I'm sure your mom will make sure she is healthy and happy

Seriously, her nose was so much cuter the last time. Im going to say she wasn't as cooperative this time and maybe when I go for my GTT next week, I can sneak in another sono and figure out if I need to start saving for college or rhinoplasty.
