Pediatric Dermatologist? Reccomendation?

Is there such a thing? The Dr. Keeps shrugging off Chloes facial rash but its getting worse and been going on for like 3-4 months now...

eta- Besides Dr. Kristal, I searched n here and couldnt find any other name...But I dont want to wait long to see someone and Also cannot travel that far. Its not a serious rash at all, so I'm not concerned with seeing a "top Doc" or anything kwim?

Yes, there is such a thing.

I have always taken DD to Dr. Kristal and Dr. Hayman....they are in E. Setauket. They are excellent at what they do. There is a place called advanced dermatology in West Islip where they handle children. They have a website.

I see Hayman because DD has a very rare mark on her back and Advance Derm. told me they didnt want to take her on so they sent me back to Hayman.

But for a rash I would try Advance Derm since it very hard to get an appointmetn with Hayman and Kristal

My pediatrician recommended Dr Kristal (but he had a long wait to get in) so we went locally.

We see Dr.Hayman in practice with Krystal and he fantastic and the wait for an appt. Is never long in either office

but since u said there was a long wait for apts (im guessing its the same dr)...he has another dr in the practice there...a woman that i heard was good too but i forget her name.

does your ped have any recs? thats who gave us our info
