that's totally me. i text while driving but i dont need to look at my phone to text. i also text with one hand. i know that's no excuse and i shouldn't do it, but it's a flaw.

The only time I notice someone talking on their phone is when they are driving stupidly, otherwise I dont notice. I am guilty-i definitely dont use my bluetooth-for me it side tracks me for some reason more then the phone...but I rarely answer my phone when driving anyway.

this drives me insane also especially when i am behind them and they are trying to turn and talk on the phone at the same time and they obviously don't have enough coordination to turn the wheel w/ one hand. I have a short fuse to begin w/ and this is one of those things that pushes me over the edge.

I was waiting today to turn left onto Jericho Tpke in Syosset. Rather busy intersection. I was the first car, so I got a good look at every person turning off Jericho Tpke to head north. In the 2 minute span I was at the light, I saw 4 people making the turn talking on their cell.
Guess what? They were all FEMALE 
I've seen that at the same intersection too!!

I have to ask...why is it necessary to text while driving? It's both dangerous & illegal.
and seriously, is it THAT important? i mean, unless the text is about the need to go save someone's life, i dont see why it cant wait. We're really not that important that we need to be in constant communcation 24/7.
I cant believe a grown adult could be SO proud. I guess its not until ya kill someone that you realize. I would be embaressed.
