People who dont have kids do not get!!!!
If you want to come see DS dont make it seem like you are coming right away because then I agree to it.. You cant just assume you can come 2 hours later. DS naps!!! Then they finally come right before nap time and I end up keeping DS up longer or if I put him down, they linger and cuts into the time I have to get things done!
Can you tell im annoyed????

and could not agree more! How do we get this word out- because I am telling you all my friends without kids pull this and then they think my kid is a cranky brat

I agree with some of the PP... either they don't have kids and don't get it (which is understandable) or they do and just don't care
My sister has 5. Sort of the brady bunch. LOL!
Anyway, they go all over at any time. My sister can't stick to the youngest nap schedule b/c she's on the go with all the practices, errands, etc. I have 1 and she doesn't understand why I'm so adament about his schedule. I have 1 so why do I need to take him out of routine or nap time b/c she does. I'd rather not have a cranky baby

I get your point but you shouldnt have to tell someone that they can't show up at your house two hours after you agreed to. It SHOULD be common sense, kids or no kids.
When I am expecting someone, I make sure my house is clean, and I will sit and wait for them, put out snacks - I would be furious if I had to wait two hours, even before DD came into the picture.

I never followed schedules with my kids, but when Charlie is ready for a nap - she's ready. And if there is someone over to see her, she still takes her nap when it's time. Otherwise it will screw up the rest of our day!
It is very annoying when people are over and they ask me not to put her in her bed when she is obviously tired and cranky

Exactly, but especially when it is someone you see often enough and should understand or be aware that the kid does have to nap, be considerate.
Now DSs been napping 30 min they just left and im about to go crazy getting done what I need to.
