I just think they are.. There is something weird about them.. I am not talking about people who dont own a pet for certain reasons.. i am saying people who dont LIKE animals, they have a certain way about them that's strange to me.. That's all I meant.. You dont have to agree.... maybe it is just me that feels that way. Thats why i posted it.

No, I don't agree with you and I find it very strange that you'd post something like this. By the way, thank you for insulting a good portion of my extended family who does not like animals. None of them are "weird" or have a strange way about them either - they just don't share my love for animals. Honestly, I think you just choose to see these people as weird because they don't happen to share you love of animals.

who cares, some people like animals, some don't, some people eat meat, some don't, some people like the color blue, some don't

Sorry maybe you misunderstood my last post.. I was asking the question to kara.. She specifically knows people who dont like animals I was just asking why.. Maybe there is a good reason? being allergic is not necessarily having a dislike for them.. and being afraid is different.. I can see being attacked by an animal you would be afraid.. I am talking about just not liking them just because.. I find a common thread among these people and I find them weird..

While I wouldn't call people who don't like animals 'weird' I will admit that it's a little un-natural and cold to me, seeing as I grew up with animals and rather than think of someone as 'weird', I feel badly for them. I think they are missing out!

You've already made up your mind that all of these people are weird, so why do you really care what I have to say?
People who don't like animals don't like them. Period. Maybe they don't even have a reason. I don't like peanut butter. I don't like pizza. I don't like snakes. I don't like playing soccer. I don't like gardening. I don't like shopping. I don't have any deep seeded issues causing me to dislike these things, and the people I know who don't like animals don't have anyd deep seeded issues either. I've never felt a need to evaluate why other people don't like things that I do - we all enjoy different things. We're all different. We like and dislike different things. As long as no one is doing any harm, who the heck cares whether or not someone else likes animals? As long as they're not hurting them, who honestly cares?
I personally love animals. They make my life more enjoyable. Other people like things I dislike, but to them, those things make their lives more enjoyable. If we all liked the same things, the world would be a pretty boring place. If you're going to put all people who don't "like" animals in the "weird" category automatically, you might be missing out on getting to know some really interesting people who are neither weird nor horrible.
And FTR, your original post said nothing about trying to find out why people don't like animals. It basically just says that people who don't like animals are weird, and you're looking for other people who feel the same way. And just because you say it's not about drama doesn't make that true.
As for you wanting to find out about my family members - that's not a desire of yours I wish to fulfill.

My opinion on the matter: to each her own. People don't like what ever they don't like for a variety of reasons. That doesn't make them weird.
