HATEEEEEEEEEEEEEE the word "epic" and I'm so glad that its dying out. Unless you're strapping on a back pack and climbing Mt. Everest, you're probably never doing anything in your lifetime that could actually qualify as "epic"

Yes! Every single one of these. A chick at work says every one of those, and then some. My favorite is " interpretated". I also can't stand when people start off an email, text, post on here with "Sooooooooo". Ex: "Soooooooo, I was talking to my mom last night and ...." Also, "what say you" Preggo, preggers "IJS" I'm just saying Baby daddy

If you ever watch any Yankee games, Al Leiter drives me INSANE b/c he says "fustrating"... its very frustrating to listen to. My husband and I take bets when he's calling the game - how long until Al Leiter says fustrating??

Supposibly (supposedly) Valentimes Day (Valentines Day) Punkin (Pumpkin) Soder (soda)
And I hate when people type "n" in lieu of saying And. Is two more letters that hard to add on either side of "n"?!?!?

Re: Phrases/Sayings/Abbreviations Pet Peeves
I don't know. I'm on the older side...40 in December ...and I really don't mind any of these phrases.
In fact, I sometimes use them, and my kids DIE...so I guess that makes me like them more.
Embarrassing a pre-teen is a mother's job and responsibility. I take that job seriously...even if they think their mother is a lil cray cray.
But...I really don't enjoy preggo. Kinda makes my skin crawl.

Re: Phrases/Sayings/Abbreviations Pet Peeves
I despise when people use MYSELF or I when they should be using ME. I can deal with people using ME incorrectly, but the other two make me crazy. I've been hearing it in movies and scripted tv shows quite a bit. It's pretty sad when writers don't even know how to write.
'Would of', 'could of', 'should of' all make me twitch. Where was everyone on contractions day in 2nd grade? It's HAVE or 've, not OF.
Anyone who says, "between you and I" needs to be pinched.

I agree with amazeballs. I don't know where that "word" came from, but its awful. Pretty much any made up word combination- fantabulous, chillaxin, etc.
I hate husband abbreviations- the hubs, the hubby, the hubster. For some reason the words make me shudder!

Phrases/Sayings/Abbreviations Pet Peeves
Hells yeah... I want to scream everytime I hear it or see it.
My DH says Birfday. I scream at him. It makes him sound like an idiot. And I told him if he ever says it around our son I will kill him.
I also cringe when my DH and SIL call their mom MOMMY.....I am fine with kids saying it but a grown adult makes me cringe.

You know what's funny? When I'll tell DH about something I saw on here and I will sometimes say, "oh someone's DH said...." He's like what the hell is a DH? Never mind, long story! And it took me FOREVER to figure out what ITA meant

Re: Phrases/Sayings/Abbreviations Pet Peeves
I know that it is a regional thing and I will probably get yelled at, but I want to SCREAM when people say "on line" (as in they are standing on line). That is not even remotely grammatically correct. You are standing IN a line, not on a line. Only in NY do people use this phrase incorrectly.

Re: Phrases/Sayings/Abbreviations Pet Peeves
I hate everything you guys have mentioned. But one of things I loathe the most is "anyways". For example, "I was going to go to the party anyways." It's a legit and ok way to use it but honestly, it should just be "anyway". It just sounds juvenile to me!! Preggo---eeewwwwwww.
