Pick out paint or comforter first??
We just moved in, and while we like the color our bedroom is painted, we plan on repainting it at some point. We desperately need a new comforter, but dont plan on painting our bedroom for at least another year. No clue even what color scheme we're thinking about. My question is, should we buy a comforter we like now, and just match up the paint later? Or wait until we decide on a paint color and then buy a comforter?

I would buy the comforter you like if you can get it now, but if you have to wait the same amount of time for both I would buy both together. I think finding a comforter is much harder then finding paint

I second that... i would do comforter first, paint second. use the comfy as your inspiration.

Comforter. Finding one of those is harder than finding a paint color to coordinate.

I would do the paint first - it's a hell of a lot easier to change your comforter than it is to change the paint color when you get bored !!

We didn't have a choice as we registered & received 2 king sets and 1 comforter at my bridal shower. Once we owned a home, we picked the bedroom colors to compliment the bedding & new furniture. We both felt chosing comforters was way harder than selecting colors (hence why registered for 3 selections  ).
