PIO question
Ok - I know I'm being obsessive.. But is going on PIO tonight a Hail Mary? Is it too late for the embryo?
Will serum prog levels raising cause the embryo to grow more?
I'm not hysterical anymore.. Just now looking for those who have experience with this good OR bad. You won't offend me.
Bc RE was concerned about prog that's the # I'm focusing on.

My friends prog was a 6 and she is 12 weeks now and all looks fine.
The PIO will help.

Agreed! Use a heating pad before and warm up the oil in between your legs, put pressure on the opposite leg, have Dh rub it afterwards then go back on the heating pad. Lol it works like a charm.

My progesterone was low and the doubled te amount and put me on endometrium 3 times a day and it went up
It can only help can't hurt

PIO question
My PIO dropped to 4 when I was supps and I was immediately put on PIO and it rose to 14 pretty quickly. I had no issues with p4 after that and no issues with the baby due to that.

PIO question
I don't think P4 impacts the embryo growth directly, but it helps to maintain the lining so the embie can burrow in and establish the placenta properly. PIO hits the blood stream right away, but if you have any prometrium capsules, it doesn't hurt to have P4 closer to the uterus, where it matters.
As for heating pad -- totally agree, heat the oil, heat the injection spot, and see if you can get your hands on a shiatsu massage pillow -- it can massage the oil for you and help it spread IM.
