I completely agree. I am so saddened by the events of yesterday, between Lauren, and finding out about that POS mother, I think it's a good day to really appreciate everything that we have.

I agree also. I have been thinking about Lauren and Scott for the past few days. I think about his parents saying goodbye to their baby, Lauren saying good bye to her best friend and little Logan. I also gave thanks for the wonderful things I do have in my life. It is so precious. Thanks Sophie

This is probably going to come off awful but not knowing Lauren and only reading her posts, I think she would want us to go on and be "normal" which includes venting.
Venting whether it is small or big helps people deal with things. It doesn't mean they don't appreciate what they have.

I agree--no venting today. How much of it is really important, in the bigger scheme of things?
I am absolutely heartbroken today. I am very lucky that my DH works from home--I just went over to cuddle with him and I sobbed for about 10 minutes. All of the stupid things I've ever gotten angry at him for...
I just can't even imagine what she is going through.

Knowing Lauren....she'd be ok with people holding off on the vents for one day. In fact, I think she'd rather like for people to focus on the positives rather than the negatives around them.

Yes. Some people come on here to vent about bad things going on in their life and to them, this in the way to do it. If it helps them get through whatever they are going through, I can't see how anyone would have a problem with that.
It doesn't mean that they don't care but it does mean that maybe they need help coping with something they are going through or something that bothers them.
EVERYONE feels awful about what happened so don't make it seem like I don't.

ITA. I just can't stop thinking about all of these families and praying hard for them and realizing how trivial so many of the things we stress and complain about are. I think a day of focusing on what's really important is completely appropriate and in fact we should all try to keep such things in mind everyday.

Ok, ladies. Let's not do this today. Today is a day to reflect on the events of what has happened and pray for Lauren and her beautiful family. They are hurting right now. We can all be "nice" for one day. I think Lauren deserves that. I think we should focus on POSITIVES today.
