I think is a very nice suggestion, Sophie.
We sometimes get so caught up in the silly little things, we forget to look at the big picture.
I for one, will be giving my husband and kids extra hugs and kisses today. I will take this awful tragedy as an opportunity to remember to be grateful for everything I have.

I agree. I woke up this morning and wanted to kick DH. Instead, I sent him a message wished him Happy Anniversary and said I love you. It's just to short.

I agree with you Sophie...just for one day. What Lauren is going through, nobody should go through at this age. It really puts life in perspective, and that we should appreciate our husbands, our children, our pets...

DH and I haven't spoken since last night (over a stupid argument). I'm going to swallow my pride and call him. Tell him I'm sorry and I love him. Life is too short and unpredictable.
