Please recommend a GREAT Italian restaurant in Suffolk or Nassau!
DH and I are planning a well deserved date night. 
What are some of your favorite Italian restaurants? We are open to either Suffolk or Nassau!

Mother Kelly's in Cedarhurst
La Viola (they have one in Cedarhurst and one in Syosset)
hmmmm....I know of more, but I can't think of them at the moment....

Mario's in East Setauket
Porto Vivo in Huntington
Lombardi's on the Sound or Bay (2 locations) in Belle Terre and Patchogue
And probably the best Italian Restaurant in the entire world...
Il Mulino in Roslyn

Pretty good ambiance

My MIL got DH a gift certificate to this new place in Amityville Village for his bday and we loved it. It's called Vero. Yum

Bellisimo in Amityville is perfect atmosphere for date night, and the food is good.
As an (extended) family, we have many of our events at Matteo's in Bellmore. The food is delish. We just went there as a family a couple weekends ago when DH's uncle passed away.
Piccolo's in Bellmore is decent as well, but it's more of an atmosphere of a pizzeria.
