Please recommend your external hard drive
I am looking for an external hard drive.
What size should I get?
Any brands better than other?
What should I be looking for?
It's mostly to store photos. It's taking too much space on my computer and I need a "backup" plan for just in case.

I wouldn't bother with anything less than 350GB.
Seagate and Western Digital have some good drives out there.
If it's a "portable" drive, meaning you'll be carrying it from place to place, you should look into the ones that get their power from the USB cable. Most drives have a separate power "brick" to power them.
You can get some really good ones for $100-$150, give or take.

if you want a portable one, try this:
simpletech 250GB external hard drive
it's the one my DH has, and he said it's very easy to use
