Please share your 1 year old's eating schedule..
I'm sure this has been asked a million times but my search came up blank.
Can you share your 1 year old's meal/snack/milk schedule? How much is done in the high chair vs. walking around (sippy/snack cup)?
I, for the life of me, can't envision how to fit in meals, naps, snacks, and milk in. Do you build in some flexibility based on your scheduling needs (i.e. don't have time for lunch, so give a snack for now and push back lunchtime? does that work?? or are they starving??)
I don't know why this is stressing me out so much!

Re: Please share your 1 year old's eating schedule..
My boys are 14 months.
Wake up at 7 8 oz sippy of milk (while walking around)
Breakfast around 730 in high chair
Nap from 9-11
Lunch at 12 in high chair sippy of milk (5 oz) while eating lunch
Nap from 2-4
Dinner at 5
Sippy of milk (8oz) at 6:30 while walking around
bed at 7
If they get snacks they are usually in snack cups while waking around, mostly before nap time. Unless its messy like fruit, and then they sit in their high chairs.

Re: Please share your 1 year old's eating schedule..
6:30-Usually wakes up 7:00-7:15 Breakfast and sippy milk in high chair Between 9:30-10:00 Small Snack (while moving around unless I have to put him down somewhere and get something done) Between 10:00-10:30 Nap Between 12:00-1:00 LUnch in a high chair Between 3:00-4:00 Snack (while moving around unless I have to put him down somewhere and get something done) 6:30-7:00 Dinner We eat dinner late b/c of husband's schedule. He usually eats first in his high chair and then will pick at food while we eat 8:00 Bedtime Routine begins 8:30-9:00 Bed
DS doesn't drink regular milk b/c of an allergy. He drinks coconut milk but not a ton of it. We find other ways to substitute for the calcium.

Re: Please share your 1 year old's eating schedule..
It is a PITA. I feel like she is always eating! lol
7AM wake up, milk/ BM 6 oz bottle ( I know, cant get rid of them yet!)
9AM BREAKFAST: oatmeal with fruit then bagel, toast, waffle or pancake while I eat (high chair)
10AM milk/BM 6 oz bottle
12PM LUNCH: baby food jar I can't help it - I feel like she doesn't get enough with the table food THEN pasta, rice, chicken, bread, veggies, meatballs or something like that
12:30-3PM nap
3PM yogurt (high chair)
5PM jar
6PM DINNER while we eat: pasta, rice, bread, whatever we are having
followed by a dessert like some ice cream or cookies!
8PM 6oz milk/BM bottle and bed!
WATER: offered after all meals - always sitting down or she makes a mess.
BOTTLES: I hold her for them, b/c I love it. If my mom is busy she will put her in the high chair too, and recline it a bit.
BABY FOOD: I made hte mistake of sending DH to the store to get some jars JUST IN CASE we lost power with Hurrican Irene. . . he brought FOUR trays so we are going through those now and then we will stop giving her jars but its hard bc I feel like sh doesnt eat enough on her own!

Re: Please share your 1 year old's eating schedule..
DS is 12 months...
6:30: wake up
7:00-7:15: 5oz bottle of milk (need to start working on getting rid of bottles!)
8:45: breakfast (yogurt, fruit, pancake, egg, etc)
9:30-11: nap
11-11:30: 5oz bottle of milk
12:30: lunch (oatmeal, fruit, cheese, cold cuts, etc)
3:00-4:00: 5oz bottle of milk, then nap or vice versa
5:30: dinner (veggies, chicken, etc)
7:00: 5oz bottle, then bed
Right now I feel he's still drinking a lot of milk. We just transitioned him from formula to milk this past week and he's getting more and more table food so I'm thinking his milk consumption may drop a bit. Not concerned at all b/c he LOVES yogurt and cheese.
