POLL: When did you switch to milk?
We saw the ped for DS's 10 mos checkup (late, he was sick at the original well visit) and he said I can begin giving him milk and switch off of formula completely. I should have asked but I am curious if this is b/c DS is so big for his age or if it's a standard thing for my ped.
Anyway, just curious if everyone else waited for the year or did it earlier.

we started on her first birthday with 2oz in her formula and then added an ounce each day.

Since she isn't the best eater, she was still getting formula up until around 13 months (and I had formula to use up), then we transitioned to milk.

My doc told me at 11.5 months I should start making a gradual transition. My DS seems to like milk better than formula, so it was a pretty easy transition for us.

Julia was 11 months when she went on whole milk, Todd Jr will be the same age.
