Tokelau, great location to all, I had a view of the castle right off the patio and paid for a garden view. Rooms are big cant go wrong!

Re: Polynesian Resort in Walt disney world
We stayed in Tahiti. It's one of the last buildings going towards the Transportation Station. We had a view of the castle and within 5 minute walking distance to the boat to Magic Kingdom or the monorail to EPCOT. If we were going to Magic Kingdom we walked back to the main building to take the monorail, 5 minutes in the other direction...
Have a great time. The Poly is a great hotel!!

Re: Polynesian Resort in Walt disney world
We had a garden view in Rarotonga and LOVED it! I highly recommend it.
We had a ground floor room with a patio. It was great - we were shielded by large flower bushes so we couldn't see the parking lot - but we could watch the monorails going by. Plus the hotel was quiet and we couldn't hear the monorails or anything else when our balcony doors were shut.
We were directly next door (only a few feet) from the great ceremonial house (where the restaurants, monorail, shops are) so if it was raining it was a quick run without getting wet and very easy to pop into the quick service place to get drinks (we got the refillable mug), a snack or hop onto the monorail.
Also we were about a 5 min walk to the TTC so it was easier to just walk there and hop onto the EPCOT monorail than to go on the MK monorail and than change lines at the TTC.
It is also only a 1 minute walk to the Volcano pool and the beach. The quiet pool is right behind out building as well.
I couldn't have asked for a better location.

I don't have the link on hand but if you google - Tikiman's polynesian website - you will get an amazing site run by this guy - and it has all the history of the resort - all the things that are currently going on - basically MORE than you ever wanted to know about the Polynesian resort!

It's tikiman2001.homestead.com. I was on it last night due to booking the Poly for September.

We were in the Rapa Nui building and we liked it! It was a bit out of the way, but a very nice walk.
