Re: Postpartum Weight Loss
Posted by Melmel821
I'm having such a hard time. I'm looking for a gym with daycare. I also have been taking DD on walks with my in her stroller. I only hear good things about weight watchers and they have apps for the phone now too.
Be careful with the daycare gyms. I took my then 7 month for the first time to the daycare at Lucille Roberts. When I went to pick him up there was a 7 year old girl holding my son! The worker said "She was playing with him and he was smiling so I thought it would be okay". Needlesstosay I have never taken him back to the gym with me.
As for losing the weight, my son is now almost a year and I am 3 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight. It takes time and a whole lot of willpower. Exercising helps too!

Re: Postpartum Weight Loss
Very hard.. you need to be very structured.. I had a traumatic birth with my daughter two years ago.. ( I had preclampsia and HELPP) I was a mess .. Joined weight watchers and I SOOO wish I joined right away.. I am down almost 30 lbs now .. took about a year on ww.. :) Believe me structure is what you need when you have a little one..

Postpartum Weight Loss
Le sigh - I'm right there with you :(
I'm in my best friends wedding and there is no way I'm fitting into the dress. My hips and thighs spread so much. I'm miserable :(

Thanks, but they're order and the color is totally bridesmaid, and she wants uniformity. Can't say I blame her, but my hips don't lie!!
I need magic! However reading this post has given me some good ideas and confirmed my need for weight watchers!

Re: Postpartum Weight Loss
I gained 25 pounds with my last pregnancy. I lost about 10 pounds when I got home from the hospital. Breast feeding has not helped me because I'm always hungry. I bought the Jullian Michael DVD and that has helped me a lot. Lost the last 15 pounds in 2 months. I haven't cut back on any food because I just can't control it. This bf'ing has me eating more than ever. When I returned back to work, I wasn't able to continue with my workout so I gained 5 pounds back. Now I'm going to the gym during my lunch hour and it's been really hard to loose these last 5 pounds. I do believe that 90% of weight loss has to do with what you eat. I need to learn how to choose my food..
