powder formula Question
I started DS on RTF, but we have switched to powder (easier bc no heating) anyway, We put 4 oz of water plus the 2 scoops of powder, so it comes out to almost 5 oz! Am I doing this right? I see some people put the powder first than the water so it equals 4 oz

i do water first... the powder adds more volume... it's fine, you are doing it right...

Thats what we do. The powder will make it seem like their is more but it's perfectly fine.
Also a tip my pediatrician told me is to not pack it too tight. Their poop may come out real dry and pasty and be a bit hard for them to get out. Make it the 2 scoops but not too tight.

That's right.
You should always measure the water first.
The powder gives volume to the water, so it makes more forumal than water measured.

just wanted to add... he is probably polishing off the 5oz easier than the RTF b/c the powder milk is lighter than the RTF.
