When I started at the RE she put me on prednisone I took it for like three weeks and then I took myself off of it. The side effects were horrible, peeing 10x's a night, headaches, weight gain, and I just felt loopy all the time. I also didn't like the possible side effects to baby if you are taking it when you get pregnant because you have to ween yourself off can't just stop cold turkey.
What are you taking it for? My RE put me on it for slightly elevated testosterone levels.

I took it for a while, i was so thirsty, dry mouth, which means like mrsm i was peeing all the time and i also had headaches...
I was not aware of the side effects on pregnancy until well after i had stopped... it didnt take long to wean off... i was off completely i think by 6w.

WOW- I actually had no idea. Now idk what to do. The RE put me on it as a precautionary measure just in case something in my body was attacking the embryo. We're still unexplained IF so there's no real medical basis. I'm on progesterone too as a precaution.
ETA- I'm on a fairly low dose- 2.5mg 2x a day. I haven't had the headaches or anything yet but I have noticed an increased appetite.

I took generic prednisone for a few days between my ER and ET and had no side effects.

I was on it during my FET cycle that resulted in my . I don't recall any side effects from it except I did have to take it with food though if not some nausea.
