I've been bad! But I'm back. I've been taking pictures but not uploading. No computer at home makes me drag my feeeeeeeet.
PS- I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE that rain picture. That's my fave that you posted so far!

1/24/12- My dog was going crazy with his toy on my bed so I did a little photo shoot with him. (Taken on Canon Rebel XS, 50 mm lens)
1/25/12- And I didn't take a photo yesterday so you guys get more of my dog being crazy. lol! I just love his face in this picture.

It is! I swear that thing is magic. For some reason the autofocus is kinda wonky on it. Not sure if there's something wrong with my lens or the 50 mm in general, but it's been that way since I got it. Not a big deal, I like to manually focus more often than not anyway, but it's a pain when you're taking a bunch of photos and you have to be quick. But it just blurs the background so beautifully. I purchased this after getting some rec's from the photographers on this board.

Of course!!! Even if you post one picture for the entire year, please feel free to participate! As you can see, I slack off about once a week! lol!
And for any photographers out there checking these out- I'd LOVE feedback. Please, if you see anything that you would have done differently or might have worked out better, let me know! I can take it and I'm doing this because I WANT to improve.

01/28/12 - ROAR!!!!
DS lined up all his dinosaurs where ever he could find a spot...this was orignally taken to e-mail DH since he was at work.
01/29/12 - Kale & Sausage Casserole
Tried out a new recipe, made some alterations & it was a huge hit for everyone.
01/30/12 - Top & Bottom...
DS sings a song while washing up after school before snack. It's his first time at the sink by himself.

I have that lens too, and have the same problem with auto-focus.

Love this thread!! I think I'm going to start project 365 a little late in the year. I'll start with Sunday since I've taken pics each day since then. (all of these taken with either my iPad or my Windows Phone)
