Wow. I wouldn't think the cape would leave that kind of mark. It looks so painful!  But then I noticed he's smiling in the pics!
What a scare it must have been for all of you. I'm glad Joseph wasn't hurt even more and that he's "recovering" well.
Oh to be a fly on the wall when he tells his friends at school what happened!

oh no your poor DS.....
I sometimes don't know how I'll be as a parent... I would never have envisioned such a scenario... it all seems so harmless... and he's just in your backyard!
thanks for the warning... and don't beat yourself up over not foreseeing this. I doubt many moms would....

Nope. I can tell you that they do not jump off swings while wearing capes.
Just spoke to the pediatrician (yes, I'm paranoid but I wanted to check if there was anything else I can do). He mentioned they see many, many cases this time of year.

Thanks for sharing again. I was going to suggest that you give him some Tylenol to see if you can ease the pain before you apply the Aloe Vera. Then I realized that the injury happened a year ago. By the way, I just had discussion with one of my doctors about how many uses there are for Aloe Vera. I had just thrown out a bottle because it was old but now I will be buying more.
