Re: PSA: Pampers Dry Max causing Burns and Rashes
Interesting, I bought one small package of cruisers with dry max and DD had a horrible rash and blister that didn't seem to get better with standard treatment. I found the old ones at Target and bought a huge box, I have been using since. The rash went away and no further issues. I wasn't sure if it was the diapers or teething that caused it but now it seems it was the pampers. I guess this means I will need to change brands. It sucks because DD has sensitive skin and the old Cruisers worked great for her.

Re: PSA: Pampers Dry Max causing Burns and Rashes
I bought a package of the new dry max this week and DS got a diaper rash. It was red with little bumps and the balmex wasnt working. I bought a package of huggies pure and natural and the rash is going away. I had a feeling it was related to the dry max diapers. DS never had any rashes before this.

Re: PSA: Pampers Dry Max causing Burns and Rashes
OMG....I think that is what caused DS to have a rash. He's NEVER had a diaper rash in his 11.5 months; then we tried the samples in the baby dry pack & lo & behold a few days later he had a rash on his little hiney. I didn't even put 2+2 together, but just seems strange in all that time he's never had a rash & then after trying the new diapers.....hmmmm

I loved the new Pampers cruisers until ds got such a nasty rash. We switched back to baby dry. I plan on trying bj's diapers next.

Re: PSA: Pampers Dry Max causing Burns and Rashes
I can not tell you how angry this makes me! My poor DS has the WORST rash on his butt. It started over a week ago with little white bumps over a red area. We treated it with a prescription cream mixed with bacitracin, but it got worse. The white bumps are now gone but he has what looks like a burn with open sores on his behind and it spread. The poor thing is suffering so bad. I switched to chlorine free seventh generation diapers last Monday but I have not seen much of an improvement and he is on a new prescription cream for burns. Procter and Gamble is going to get one heck of a phone call on Monday from me!!!

My DD hasn't had a rash but DS does. I should have gotten DD new diapers when I was buying him new ones, but I have soooo many pampers I don't want to just throw them away.

Re: PSA: Pampers Dry Max causing Burns and Rashes
Yup. I sent an email complaint to Pampers about this (about a month ago) too since it was happening to my 18 month old DD, and their response was basically that they do not care. This is why we switched to Seventh Generation. It sucks too because I am very brand loyal and always bought Pampers products but not anymore. Cruisers were great until they changed them to the substandard Dry Max shiit.

The same thing happened with my DD#1. I switched to 7th Gen and it does get better. She is now rash free! Call and give them helll! I hope the rash clears up for your DS like it did for my DD. Keep using the 7th Gen.

I have been using the Swaddlers Sensitive with my DD#2 and have not had a problem yet. There is Dry Max in those but also a cotton layer (I believe) since they are called 'Sensitive.'

I am also using the swaddlers sensitive and DD hasn't had a problem. I will tell you that as soon as I am done with this box I will no longer buy pampers though. I heard target has good diapers.

How long did it take for the rash to go away? He is on silver sulfadiazine now and it is getting better but very slowly!

This is the complaint page on Facebook. My DS had two giant blow outs up his back today. This explains a lot. This is the other complaint about the new diapers.

I've also heard from Mommies on this board that the Target Up n' Up diapers are quite comparable to Pampers. I have 2 large boxes to go thru for DD#2 and then I may try them out. Let me know how they work for you!

Almost 2 weeks. She does have sensitive skin too which just exacerbates the problem! I miss the old Cruisers. They were great!! Asssholes! I am so pisssed at Pampers for screwiing with a good thing!

Re: PSA: Pampers Dry Max causing Burns and Rashes
It's just not fair... I loooved Pampers in the past... why do they feel the need to fix something that is NOT broke?? Seriously? My DS hasn't gotten a rash yet...but I'm not chancing it. I have a few left, and then I'm done with Pampers... it's actually rather sad. They were my favorite... even smelt good LOL
