Abby hasn't had any reactions so far, but I dont think we will be buying anymore. In 20 months, Abby has had ONE diaper rash when she was about 4 months old - not one since and this was long before Dry Max.

I can not tell you how angry this makes me! My poor DS has the WORST rash on his butt. It started over a week ago with little white bumps over a red area. We treated it with a prescription cream mixed with bacitracin, but it got worse. The white bumps are now gone but he has what looks like a burn with open sores on his behind and it spread. The poor thing is suffering so bad. I switched to chlorine free seventh generation diapers last Monday but I have not seen much of an improvement and he is on a new prescription cream for burns. Procter and Gamble is going to get one heck of a phone call on Monday from me!!!Chat Icon

The same thing happened with my DD#1. I switched to 7th Gen and it does get better. She is now rash free! Call and give them helll! I hope the rash clears up for your DS like it did for my DD. Keep using the 7th Gen. Chat Icon Chat Icon

How long did it take for the rash to go away? He is on silver sulfadiazine now and it is getting better but very slowly!

Almost 2 weeks. She does have sensitive skin too which just exacerbates the problem! Chat Icon Chat Icon I miss the old Cruisers. They were great!! Asssholes! I am so pisssed at Pampers for screwiing with a good thing! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Oh, I hope it clears up sooner than 2 weeks. He can barely sit down! He has the most sensitive skin too so I guess that doesn't help. I will let you know how I like Up and Up diapers.

It's just not fair... I loooved Pampers in the past... why do they feel the need to fix something that is NOT broke?? Seriously? My DS hasn't gotten a rash yet...but I'm not chancing it. I have a few left, and then I'm done with Pampers... it's actually rather sad. They were my favorite... even smelt good LOL

I'm guessing they changed them to increase their profit margin, appear to be eco-friendly since the diapers are thinner Chat Icon and so they appear to be 'new and improved!' Jerks!! Remember when they stopped making their refill wipes with the resealable top? Chat Icon Chat Icon I wonder what brainiac had THAT idea! Chat Icon

Even if it does take 2 weeks, it will get better and better everyday. It took a total of 2 weeks for all signs of rash/burns to be completely gone on DD. Chat Icon Chat Icon I'll be waiting with bated breath for a full review on the Target diapers. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I will let you know! I can tell you that seventh generation I liked, but I wish I could buy them in bulk. And I am trying the earth's best right now. Next will be up and up. I feel like I am test driving cars! Chat Icon

Re: PSA: Pampers Dry Max causing Burns and Rashes

If your child has a diaper rash from pampers please please please call them! They are claiming it has nothing to do with the diapers but we all know that is a crock! They are actually open this weekend to take calls 1-800-PAMPERS (*we are open this weekend 4/24 & 4/25 9-6p EST*) M-F 9-6p EST and if possible provide the identification codes and save any unused diapers.

THANKS!!!

Damn! I just open 2 boxes from BJs--what do I do now? I wish I saw this sooner---I don't always get to get on hereChat Icon

DS had a little rash but I didn't think we had the Dry Max -- DH said that's what he bought last time.

Whoa...this was a REAL eye-opener for me.

Ryleigh is just getting over the worst diaper rash she's ever had in her 16 months (actually, I think it's the ONLY one she's had in her 16 months). It's been almost a week of treatment and it's just now starting to look back to normal. But for the first 3 days, she wouldn't sit in her high-chair and I couldn't sit her butt on my arm because she would scream Chat Icon

I thought it was because we found poo in her first diaper of the morning--we just assumed that she had gone during the night and hadn't awoken, which REALLY made us Chat Icon because she never, NEVER sleeps with a dirty diaper.

Now I'm wondering if it's those new Cruisers! We didn't have a problem with them at first...but now I can't help but wonder.

I've since switched her to the the Little Movers/Pure & Natural (I buy whatever I have coupons for) and it's gotten much, much better... Chat Icon

Dylan hasn't had a reaction..yet but I only bought one box (Cruisers) and I am going to switch. Why mess with a good thing? That is horrible. Those poor babies!

I've been using Pampers since DS was born and he has never had a diaper rash. He is 2.5 years old.

Until now. He doesn't even wet himself that much anymore except with the overnight diaper since he uses the potty a lot, and these diapers have caused a slight rash. It's not terrible, but strange for a kid who never had diaper rash.

Needless to say, I need to find a new diaper that works for us.
