Re: "Pushing Present".......??
After getting upset for not getting anything with Christopher (not even flowers or a card), I realized what a spoiled brat I was being. JMO, but it's selfish to expect a present when you just accomplished one of the most beautiful things in life....seeing your precious baby should be enough of a present. This is especially true for me now that I've experienced a miscarriage and witnessed a lot of sad events on these boards. Appreciate what you have.

Re: "Pushing Present".......??
I got a white gold and diamond baby shoe(combo baby gift and mothers day gift). Nothing extravagant but just nice to wear around my neck representing my new love Alot of women get a dozen roses from their DH's after they deliver. Too each his own. Of course a baby is gift enough you are on cloud 9 anyway doesn't really matter who gets what, its what your holding that counts

Re: "Pushing Present".......??
The first time I heard the term was from my friend who told her husband what she wanted.
I got the baby & dinner. Then again, I got EXACTLY what I wanted.

Re: "Pushing Present".......??
I must be living in a cloud my entire life, because it was only after I became pregnant and people mentioned "push presents" that I had ever heard of them
I will not be asking for, and doubt I will be getting, a push present. In fact I rather I did NOT get anything at all from DH... I would rather the money be used for something towards our new apartment or the baby.
Besides - I already was blessed with a generous and loving DH and don't need a present to prove that - he has proven these past few weeks in particular how wonderful a husband he is! I have feeling sooo lousy and DH has risen to the task and helped me out immensely with the day to day things. He works LONG days and never complains about coming home and doing chores, taking care of things around the house, and generally taking care of me!
This has been more valuble to me than any gift he could get me for having OUR child.
