Putting eye drops into a toddler's eyes HELP
My 22 month old has an eye infection and is fighting me everytime I need to do drops...which is 2 drops 4xs per day!! Ive been bribing her 1 M&M per drop which worked at first (she's never had candy before) but now she's over it. I feel like I'm getting more drops on her face than in her eyes. And by the second drops she's crying and the drops wash right out. At night my DH helps be by holding her hands down, but during the day it is definitely not easy to hold her down, hold open her eye, and get the drops in.
Any advice/magic tricks that work for getting this done?

Putting eye drops into a toddler's eyes HELP
This is how my DS eye doctor does it when he gets them dialated..
They have me cradles him like I am holding a baby. Then they tell him to close his eyes, she puts one drop in the corner by his nose and then have him open his eyes. The drop falls right in!!

Yes!! So easy this way. DD gets eye infections frequently and we always do it this way.
She will still squirm, so hold her arms, drop then tell her you're all done and to open her eyes. (just make sure she opens her eyes before you sit her up)
