Q about changing locks on door
We are getting new entry & storm doors installed on Monday. I do not want to use my current door handle & deadbolt so we are getting a new one. But our current one has a Medeco lock installed in it. Can we remove the Medeco lock and install it in any deadbolt set? If so, is it something we can do ourselves or do we need a locksmith? TIA

Re: Q about changing locks on door
Locks are standard. Any lock can go in any door. All it takes is a few minutes, and a screwdriver. I've changed several locks in several doors with several brands over the years.
