Question about getting your Doc to run tests???

OK. So I've read a lot of you ladies have had the pelvic sonograms and blood tests. I spoke to my dr, she put on pre natals and ran this background blood test that some eastern european jews shoudl take to rule out some rare diseases...BUT no pelvich sonogram or blood tests to look at progesterone levels etc..how do I have the doctor do this, do I just tell them I want it done???

i don't think they will do that unless you are under 35 and have been trying for a year or are over 35 and have been trying for 6 months. if you have a short LP though you will need progesterone supplements to hold a pregnancy so you should call your OB/GYN ASAP.

Yah, I'm going to just make sure about my LP this cycle, as last cycle was the first cycle I was really using OPK's to make sure when I ovulated...sooo if I do see it is in fact too short this month as well, I will call my doc ASAP.
