Question for cloth diaper moms
I have been procrastinating trying out my cloth diapers. DS it's almost 4 months and I tried them for the first time today. I have the flip diaper with an organic insert and it seems so bulky! I knew the organic insert was going to be more bulky than the regular inserts but I'm afraid I'm squishing him Do they thin out the more I wash and/or dry them?

Re: Question for cloth diaper moms
Don't worry you are not squishing him. Cloth diapers are just always more bulky. I don't think you insert will get thinner as you use it. I use prefolds and they haven't. But your aren't hurting him at all. I have been cding for 15 months now and ds is just fine.

Question for cloth diaper moms
They won't look so big when he is bigger :O) One size diapers are more bulky in the beginning than sized diapers. If it really bothers you, you can always add a few sized covers like wee huggers size 1 and smaller inserts into your stash.
I loved doing wee huggers size 1 with g-diaper size small inserts when my girls were young.
