Question for Jewish Moms

we are having a briss- my DH is Jewish, I am not.... what should I get for him (the baby) to wear?

I dont really want to go to Denny's and spend a fortune, so any other reccomendations would be good.

Re: Question for Jewish Moms

DH is Jewish, although not religious in any way, we were going to go with a Bris when we had DS but DH changed his mind at the last minute..(I dont know why)...ANYWAY...I found a couple of gowns online for about $80 dollars. They were a lot fancier than DH and I had wanted so we had found just a plain cotton white dressing gown on a website. I dont remember where but it was like NATURAL BABY or something. They sell organic cotton baby products. It was about $30..HTH

DS wore a footed onesie by Absorba baby. It had a matching blanket. My grandma got it at bloomingdales. For.....$3.49. It was originally priced at $45.00. You don't have to spend a lot of money.

Re: Question for Jewish Moms

The mohel really wanted him in a gown. We had purchased several of the gowns that are convertible to pajamas with legs. We picked our favorite for the bris. It was from Dennys but it was not a special gown for a bris. It was more of an everyday thing. It had a matching blanket, so that was nice. He looked adorable. We got a yarmulke from Dennys but those are optional. My inlaws would have paid for a fancy outfit but I preferred to get some other things instead.

Re: Question for Jewish Moms

We got Jacob a light blue outfit that didnt have legs. We did get it at Dennys but it wasnt expensive at all. I think that you get something at like Kohls for a reasonable price.
