Question for the moms who delayed shots
Did your child start day care without the shots or did they stay home?
Zach started day care this week but the doctor still does not want to start his shots until we know we have the reflux/colitis under control for good. She said we will start at his next appt (4 month well check).
I am a little concerned about him being at day care without the shots but the doctor said not to worry. I trust her judgement and am all for delaying shots and spacing them out more but am curious as to what you did. Thanks.

Well, our daycare would not take DS without shots. Plain and simple! I am surprised your daycare is allowing you not to vaccinate DC. I also did not want him to be without shots and being exposed to so many people and other kids.
He was always catching a cold already every other week.
If DS had not been in daycare, I would spaced out some vaccines and some I would not have given (optional ones of course!).

The day care allows 30 days before the shots are required.
