Gas got better after we discovered dd's milk protein allergy, and was almost completely gone by 3 mos.
For reflux, it took a little rice cereal in the bottle and starting the nights in the rock n play. It got better on its own when dd was able to roll to sleep on her belly, around 4-5 mos.
Hang in there - I remember how tough it was and how helpless I felt...

how did you all realize there was a milk allergy?
My daughter had it so they suspected he could have issues as well. then he was noticeably uncomfortable a few days after we brought him home - so they tested his diaper for blood in his stool
Ask GI doctor about adding some rice. We used earths best bc a lot of other brands have soy in them, which milk allergic babies are often also allergic to.

Thank you...that is very helpful as I wouldn't have known that. I will ask GI on Friday ( as long as our appt isn't cancelled due to snow  )
