Question regarding schooling for my toddler
Hey all
I have a 2 yr old and was contemplating enrolling in nursery school. I live in Massapequa and I saw that marjorie post has a nursery school but it's run by the town of oyster Bay. Also I was wondering if any one had suggestions on other preschools because I'm kinda lost. He is my first so I'm not a hundred percent sure if I'm enrolling early or what:)
Please help Tia Amber

Question regarding schooling for my toddler
I'm in Massapequa too.
The PreSchool run by the TOB has gotten great reviews from people I know who have sent their children there. In order to go there, your child MUSt be potty trained - MUST. We didn't send DS there bc I knew he just wouldn't be trained in time.
We sent our son first to Community Nursery School on Park Blvd in Mass Park. He really liked it there and had nice teachers, learned a lot, played a lot, did some great activities. They also have a 2 year old separation class 2 days a week for 2 hours a day.
We decided to hold him back a year bc he's a late birthday and looked for a more academic program for him. He's now at Presbyterian Community and loves it here as well. He's truly excelling and coming in to his own. We're so happy with the program and I feel he will definitely be ready for Kindergarten this coming September.
Let me know if I can do anything else for you.

The TOB preschool is supposed to be great. It is a lottery and there are two classes of 18 kids.
