Toddler moms--milk question.
How much milk does your little one drink?
Katherine could drink milk alllll day long! She's always demanding "Baba now!!" (Baba signifies milk; she drinks from a sippy) I try and offer her water, but no go.
Do I need to limit the milk consumption? If so, do you have any suggestions?

Re: Toddler moms--milk question.
Sarah was the same way, she was drinking about 40oz a day and at her 2 year appt the doctor told me I had to cut it back to 16 oz since she could develop anemia from having too much milk.
She still asks for milk a lot so we give her 4 4oz sippies a day. On a bad day she'll get 5 or 6. I'm doing my best to keep it to 16 or 20 oz a day.

Re: Toddler moms--milk question.
My son would drink a gallon of milk a day if we let him. He has about 20-24 ounces a day. We give him smaller sized cups to drink from, and when he's finished, we tell him he has to drink water. The smaller cups help to limit his amount.
My DD is on milk now and she has about 16-20 ounces a day. She is 1. Pedi said it was fine because she eats very well and gets diary from other sources.

Ava drinks a cup in the morning with breakfast and a cup at night with dinner. I give juice at lunch and water throughout the day. The dr said she shouldn't drink more than 24 oz a day because it can lead to anemia.

I have tried to cut her milk intake to only a bottle a day. While on vacation she didn't drink milk not even once and it made her stomach better because she was having constipation issues.
She is 2 1/2
